Honestly, things like this don't exist in a vacuum in the sense that there are signs. Does this mean we should have red flag laws? No, that's not the point I'm trying to make. I'm saying the moment he decided to become a credible threat("lmao I'm gonna shoot up this nigger grocery store for the lolz") someone should've called the cops. That being said, that's really all anyone can do, given what we saw out of the absolute incompetence of law enforcement during the Nikolas Cruz case out of Parkland.

It takes a certain level of aloofness and c'est la vie to manage to use the internet and still be sane and functional (if a bit strange). I think that's why high-functioning autists like John Carmack, Eric Raymond and Tim Sweeny (fuck you Tim for not giving us Unreal Tournament 4 because of Fortnite. I am still pissed about that and always will be) are able to deal with the complexities of the internet and shittalking and shit like that. I'm not saying this as some gnostic, enlightenment shit. We know that feds will give a box of clocks, wires, and play-doh to a mentally ill man, arrest him, and count that arrest towards catching dozens of terrorists annually. We know that extremist organizations are led or filled with feds. We know that they post to some extent on /pol/ and other places. How attenuated can the involvement of the government be for the shooting to still be considered a "glow op" or "false flag"? Does vague egging on in DMs like in the Garland case count?

At the end of the day, it looks like a mentally ill loser decided to obtain guns and go on the attack, not the government. The weird manifesto can be explained by a combination of laziness, autism, newfaggotry, and goals such as getting stricter gun laws passed to accelerate societal collapse. I am paraphrasing that last one from something I read earlier in the thread.
