In pro wrestling, something Phil knows so well there are people(think hulk hogan, ric flair) who begin to live their gimmick so much that if you speak with them they don't actually recall what are the real stories. He has lived the DSP gimmick so hard so long that it has consumed his personality AND memories. He thinks all of this is the truth. He can't keep track of his own canon basically, especially since Phil no longer exist. Personally, I feel most of DSP's lies are just him constantly trying to appear above it all with a level head and wry sense of humor. The problem is his so uncool, such an outcast, and such a parasite that he's easily called out for being a poser and this puts him on the backpedal.

For those that ever wonder "just how much of a morally reprehensible shitbag is Phil?" here's a quick story for you regarding yesterday and today. If you doubt this you can look up the archive of DDM or Tervin and watch his chat.

Yesterday during the Leanna bits of DTRH, Kevin Burnstein started saying some fucked up stuff about Kat. Now, I personally don't care that he says anything about Kat. I think she's a dumb potato crack-whore and her existence as a horse-faced retard that can't hold down a job amuses me. But Phil should care because she's his wife. The shit Kevin said wasn't lighthearted jokes either, he said shit about how much more attractive Leanna was than Kat, how Phil seemed happier with Leanna than with Kat, how Kat is "ok looking I guess" but Leanna's youth explains why, comparatively, "Kat looks like she has a lot more mileage on her".

A few people tried to bring this to Phil's attention during the stream yesterday. They were banned for "derailing chat". At some point later on it appeared that Kevin Burnstein and a bunch of the other Burnsteins were banned.

Fast forward to tonight and multiple people see that Kevin Burnstein is back in chat and start asking Phil why Kevin's allowed back in chat, specifically citing the shit that Kevin said about Phil's wife. Remember, this is his "soulmate", the woman that "said things to him no other woman has said", his "rock". Does Phil think to himself "gee there are people that remember what happened yesterday and are pointing out that Kevin said really fucked up shit about my wife, maybe I should cut my losses and ban Kevin as a sign that I'm not a complete faggot whipped by the almighty dollar"? Nope. He bans the people again pointing out what Kevin said under the same tired excuse of "derailing chat, I'm not even going to address it."

That last part is really telling to me. "I'm not even going to address it." That means that he knows there's something to address, but finds it not worthy of his time. I never thought I'd feel bad for Kat and I probably still don't, she's a dumb whore, but it must be miserable being married to someone so fucking spineless that he doesn't value your "honor" over a few bucks from some faggot LARPing as a VTuber obsessed Christian (that is also likely OIC sock #53)

That'a a lie. Leanna only started drifting away after the hospital incident. I don't care what the pig's retcon is. He would feature her in videos and talk about her prior to that. They were obviously closer. Knowing Phil's tendency of mixing truth and lie together so he can later claim the nugget of truth, I believe he used his current situation with Kat as a story for what happened to Leanna.

Idk, did Phil Burnell ever really exist? It's clear he's always kind of absorbed what he feels and does from the people around him. He's spent his whole life, from the time he was a child with over-involved parents, doing what he thinks he's supposed to do rather than acting based upon his emotions and independent judgement.

I love you Phil. Just today I was watching that new Pyrocynical video (he's fairly tolerable when he discusses stuff in long form) and Phil popped up with the "why am I toxic" clip and I shouted "THERE HE IS, THERE'S PHILBURT! THERE HE IS!". He shows up in videos all the time. He was even referenced in that videogame developer conference, and every time I see him I shout "THERE HE IS, THERE'S PHILBURT!"

Everyone loves Phil. He's the working man's content creator. People are drawn to him because they identify with him and his simplicity, his perseverance, and the harmlessness of his existence. There are countless cows on this site who are much more malicious while giving back even less than Phil has by their existence.

I won't give you financial support Phillip but I hope you know you have my full emotional support. Don't let the detractors get you down or make you second guess yourself.
