As far as penishavers go that have interactions with Hololive members, I genuinely like rpr and his arc from watching that one vtuber tournament to now has been incredible to follow. I honestly don't know why I like him and despise Trash Taste but he just seems so much more authentic in his simping and I'm sure witnessing his descent into the rabbit hole as it happened helps as well. He also constantly gushes about Towa and how she inspired him to actually start singing to the point of him working on a cover and an original song.

Also, while I'm sure those hotlines and chat rooms and seeing a therapist and such can be helpful, I've met two psychological professionals and known another indirectly (none for me but for friends) and two of the three were perhaps the literal worst people I have ever met and the third was advising some creepy/insane things.

Listen this is going to sound fringe but just think about how useful it would be to have assets working in psychological therapy roles if your objective is MKULTRA-ing some folks or even just fricken surveillance alone, whether your program is local or foreign intelligence. It's not about the patient themselves being special or persecuted necessarily, its about the wealth of information that that relationship potentially provides for broader surveillance needs.

That's not even to mention the pills, man. You know the pharma companies' OWN STUDIES (buried, of course) showed prozac was as good as or worse than placebo? I've known people on that stuff and it is NOT GOOD ("oh that just means it wasn't a good fit for you so lets throw some of this other crap at your cerebral wall and see if it sticks!" fuck yeah science!). We know the pharma companies are without any moral compass based on the past couple years alone. As for the psychological therapists being credentialed and trained, I'm gonna lay this on you- credentials mean jack shit; they mean you can take a test and comply, they don't mean you understand what a drug the pharmaceutical company rep leaves free samples of in your office is doing in the brain.

Just sayin'... it's way better to focus on developing/acquiring a community, morale, and energy than to confess your sins and secrets to a stranger. I'm sure there are a lot of really lovely and genuine people in those jobs, especially the non-credentialed ones, and from all I've read from therapists themselves the technique and process etc. matters a lot less than just having a friendship and having that emotional support. And you know, maybe some people really are just completely fucked up chemically and maybe those pills work miracles for them, but I would take that kind of anecdote and asserted causal connection with a giant grain of salt.

So just if you must go see a "professional" for mental health stuff, put on your metaphorical tinfoil hat and shop around, and stay away from the drugs because they really have no f-ing clue what they're doing with the brain, man. And uh... know that you can be cautious without being anxious. Otsucringe.

But seriously, i may not like Niji very much or watch them (not like i watch that much holo or vtubers in general anyways) but i do think it's a good thing that there are 2 major players instead of just 1, if this industry only had one agency that monopolized the entire thing it would likely stagnate, with two we have actual competition and innovation, and it makes the market more varied.

I know many people like bitching about one side or the other but it's a fact that very few people in this community are purists of just one group, and will watch or atleast keep with happenings in others, i hope neither side ever overthrows the other completely, atleast until they inevitably get supplanted by new blood.

The tribalism stuff is part of the circle, it always rotates back around. It also typically ends up being the same like 5 people slap fighting (unless some drive by new fag/new account starts up.) Which is usually started over some low level bait of the most eye rolling dumb shit. Sometimes things aren't totally original or people come up with similar ideas. In our entire world of known recorded civilization that must truly be shocking.
That's why I only enjoy completely original ideas like Intellectual property with it's unique *Chosen main character* being a savior to bring balance to the universe and fight off "Allmitee Eeevul" who was a true villain of the ages.

Yeah, most people here are familiar with and hololive enjoyers, but practically every regular in the thread commonly is dandy with both companies and several others. It's just a hassle to slog through it but so are the other usual weeklies. Most people are just like "I checked out X, not for me. Hope they do well!"

Truth be told I think someone misses out by not giving most the streamers in both companies a chance or two. Plenty of golden moments on all ends. Part of why the slap fight kind of sucks, it makes me tune out some posts and I miss stuff sometimes. At least this time it happened after the info drops.

Ah fair. I seem to mostly recall @Takodachi being at least one of the ones who noted she was actually menhara, so I can't be positive on who did it. Regardless though I think it's pretty reasonable logic to say it probably isn't an act at all.
