Someone at dvach noted that on some footage(I think there was only footage from training grounds, not even in Ukraine) murrican M777 artillery that was supposed to be given to Ukraine doesn't include digital targeting systems, which implies inability to use M982 Excalibur guided shells.
Also that M113 APCs from Holland do not come with turrets, Czech and Polish T-72As come without active protection, German APCs straight from 1965.

This info is literally fart in the wind, but it does sorta go inline with how things had been looking up so far.

Drone footage of trenches getting shelled. I hate it when they add gay music to such footage to make it seem epic.

And a sniper working with night vision equipment. Seems like pretty short distance.

You know, I watched it again, and I noticed that there's only three corpses there, but they're filmed from several angles. That gave me a thought: What if those ARE the Russian soldiers we know for a fact died that day (the splatted helicopter)? What if this was a video filmed by the Russian soldiers there to film the aftermath of the attack for their superiors? The video we got is cut to shit, it's plausible that they cut out things they couldn't use for their propaganda repurposing, and the different angles of the same person is just the Russians filming while they walk around the place. You said they reuse the captured weapons, so that may have just been equipment they were given. The video could be black and white because the arm bands they wear in the video would show a Russian color.
Something that's bugging me is that among the soldier/sailor's belongings there seems to be a Magpul Pmag.

Because it looks like a 5.56 magazine it would imply we're looking at Ukrainian gear... but why did he go into combat with a single spare magazine?

I never really had much of any opinion on the pollacks before this but I've just grown to really dislike them, demilitarizing and renaming cities is something you can only do after winning a war. How retarded can you be to be a polack and want to go to war with Russia. Also saying Finland and Sweden have decent armies is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

If he was using a dump pouch properly, it may have just fallen out of such during whatever action killed him.

It may have been on the backpack, because the items found during the search are spread out but the weapons and gear were collected.
However, why did he bring a packaged toothbrush and two tubes of toothpaste on what seems to be a 24hr assault pack?

Not really. Note that it's not Russians who are taking down monuments, throwing paint on embassadors, writing shit on embassy walls, drawing offensive cartoons or going out of their way to shit on [insert nationality other than Ukrainean] in Youtube and news article comments.

There is precious little thought about Latvians/Estonians/Poles until they go out of their way with these shenanigans as they yell "NOTICE HOW MUCH I HATE YOU, B-BAKA" and it makes the news... Again.

Yeah, I get it, you hate us. What now? You are saying this because you hope to get punched in the teeth so you can scream about Russian aggression or?..

I swear, the citizens of Butthurt Belt do not take pride in how well their countries are doing (assuming they are), they take pride in how bad things in Russia are instead. This is not healthy.
Not gonna lie, you pretty much just also described what it feels like to be an American listening to other countries talk about us.

The anniversary summit of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) began in the Kremlin. The meeting of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan is taking place in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Putin's statements at the CSTO summit in Moscow:

— As for the expansion of NATO, including at the expense of Finland and Sweden. Russia has no problems with these states, and therefore no additional threat is created for the Russian Federation at the expense of these countries. But the expansion of military infrastructure will cause a backlash.

— NATO goes beyond its geographical purpose and tries not to influence other regions in the best way.

— The US biological laboratories in Ukraine, in fact, were engaged in the development of biological weapons near the borders of the CSTO.

— A whole series of joint military exercises of the CSTO is planned for autumn, their number will expand.

I keep getting recommended these videos on YouTube. I feel bad for the Russian POWs, they’re kids. A lot of them look lost and confused. The interrogator is with Ukraine obviously, and so this is clearly propaganda, but man oh man do I pity those young Russian kids.

I’m not a fan of countries invading other countries, especially their neighbors, even when it’s the US, but it bothers me how blood thirsty some news outlets are. It’s unfortunate dirty business, not something to be celebrated.

Thank goodness Poland doesn’t have nuclear weapons. They would’ve escalated already.

As far as I know, and maybe this only applies to the sandbox, but US troops set up shop and can fuck shit up for miles away and have no reason to move because well... there's miles of impact zone to navigate to get to them and you're not sneaking up on them.
sandbox jihadis usually don't have heavy artillery of their own that can return fire from 20 miles away, and they don't have an air force that can drop bombs on your howitzer either

I had an idea about the reasons for the desperate attack on Snake Island—grain. Ukraine cannot transport its grain by sea while Russia controls it, and land transportation is inefficient and expensive. In addition to the blows to Ukraine's finances, there is no doubt that Ukraine's Western sponsors are also actively knocking on the door to accelerate this process.

I am not fluent in modern naval warfare laws, but isnt it the case where russians are allowed to sink any and all ship that does business with ukrainians in their own ports? I remember reading about ww2 submarines (early war) where their commanders (and sometimes the commanders of raiders) would check ships for their cargo and destination, and sink them if they were heading to allied nations or doing business for them.

German APCs straight from 1965.
The Marder is only outclassed by the Puma. Its a perfectly fine system, the problem is that ukraine cant use them. APCs are not Battlefield Taxis, they are designed to move with the armor, Ukraine doesnt have the organisation or Armor to use APCs in a meaningful way.

Wouldn't really fly today. Any concept of laws of war is general agreements, not blanket permission slips, so any foreign nationals that die because you decided to start sinking ships left right and center is gonna get you foreign interventioned very quickly, with a very good argument for why they've done so.

The only stuff worth that risk would be large scale military hardware movements, which are not going by sea to Ukraine right now - There's perfectly good land routes into the country.

I am fairly certain I read about it in some book about german raiders, where the commanders would check neutral shipping for contraband/war material. But its been a while and I might be wrong.

It's only because people are convinced America and nato will pay for their defense.... The 3rd Reich didn't even get push back like this in the thirties... Where I live is full of retard virtue signaling for Ukraine..... It seems everyone needs to have their 2 minutes of hate every 5 minutes...... At this point I'm on the Russia side. Fuck giving these assholes 40 Billion while we got infants fucking starving.

Whether it’s against the law or not the US would if it was at war with China or Russia. The Japanese were lucky that American torpedos were initially a bunch of shit. Germany was doing it too but the Allies had better navies.
