Its less about Nuxtaku (i have no sympathy for him) and more that she and others jumped into the backstabbing that Nyanners started when supposedly Nux & Vshojo were good friends.

Since it's unlikely they'll intermingle the branches, I think StarsEN would do 100x better simply because NijiEN males kinda proven there's a market and they currently have 0 competition (being real) so I think they'd do "ok" for Hololive but not amazing but still likely a lot better than what most indie males would do without corp backing.

Most of their audience appears to be Asian (China, Taiwan, Japan). I'm pretty sure the all female gen's 1 - 3 are still more popular in Europe/NA even though I don't exactly have any hard data to back it up. Anyway Cover have a much smaller audience built around Homostars (that new EN's might actually canibalize if you look at niji EN example) and lost China ages ago so there's really only Taiwan.

I do hate this obnoxious jew faggot don't get me wrong but in the same time him and Melody were supposedly friends long before hololive kicked off the Vtuber boom and he was shilling her, Mouse and this whole clique a lot in the early days when his channel was much bigger so I can see why it leaves a bad taste that she turned against him seemingly in a day like chinks on Fubuki.

Also the modeler she had that whole famous copyright drama with gave his own perspective and while by all accounts this guy is a bit of a prick Melody is not a saint either and there's a reason why she kinda stagnated on the porn side of things.

In fairness as trashy as Nux's stuff is he really didn't do anything wrong in that situation, and the VShojo girls rushing to disavow him and talk about how disappointed etc. they were felt like them just trying to be on the 'right' side of a controversy given he was getting heat at the time. I wouldn't expect them to run to his defence either, but they could've just kept their mouth shut and let their disaster of a management handle it rather than throwing him under the bus to virtue signal.

It made me lose a bit of respect for them not because of who they were targeting; but because it shows they're willing to backstab someone if it benefits them.

NijiEN never cannibalised the JP men at all. In fact Nagao Kei and Oliver Evans have been on a relatively steep incline for engaging with them so much.

I don't necessarily think StarsJP would be cannibalised, either. Rather, they're likely to just be completely dwarfed by the new EN toy and made effectively irrelevant. Absolutely no one is chomping at the bit to see dudes collab with any Star except Roberu and maybe Astel.
