Why is Vivillon so goddamn cute?
I like Vivillon. Mine is a Garden pattern but I've been collecting as many forms as possible before resorting to cheating to get the rare ones and the Pokeball one. I got the Fancy one legit when it came out.
Or the other way around. I don't remember.

Design, I have no clue about combat ability but they're just normal type, right?
There's not much of an established meta for Arceus because there's no PvP and you can just power through every fight in the game pretty easily with any super effective one-two Agile Style-Strong Style punch. In the other games, Mega-Lopunny is great. Lopunny is absolute trash.

Replaying Gen 6 over the weekend made me realize just how much wasted potential Gen 6 had. Probably my favourite regions aesthetic wise. I also liked how you could have a job. I wish the mainline games would further expand on the role-playing elements. I mean, its fine being a standard trainer and all, but it would nice to be so much more.

Crazy to think that next year will be the 10 year anniversary.
Case in point: BDSP are the best selling Pokemon remakes.
Yeah, and each set of remakes outsold the previous ones (i.e - ORAS beat HG/SS and so on). Despite all criticism, Sword & Shield have outsold the mainline games for every Pokemon generation except for Gen 1.

In Pokemon Unite news, the game recently received an update that made Espeon a playable character. However, it's inclusion has caused ranked matches to Desync like crazy among other things.

You could say that Espeon torn the fabric of reality asunder.

Edit: As it turns out, Greninja was the culprit.

So Dexit isn't going away? gen 8 is officially worse than 3.
Unpopular opinion time - I didn't mind Dexit, and honestly am more surprised it took this long for it to happen.

Did a lot of peoples favorites get cut along with some of the dead weight/totally not reskin Pokémon, yeah. Is it mostly just a tactic to get people to shell out for the DLC's, probably also yeah. The reason I'm alright with it is that we're officially over 900 Pokémon with the new ones Legends added, and I'd assume Gen 9 we'll likely break 1000 between new Pokémon and regional variants of older Pokémon. Sure, most of the models Gamefreak uses are low poly, but at a certain point it becomes a storage issue to keep all those models in storage - this is the one time I'm not even annoyed at the competitive Pokémon players, because their autism usually has them limited to a handful of Pokémon that Smogon deems viable anyway.

I get that for a lot of people. they've been using their favorite 'mon's for well over a decade at this point, but eventually something had to give.
