This is not true (yes shocking that ED is inaccurate). The dox linked on the first page has Jem Lee (Sophia Augustine) born on the last day of 1991. Meaning she was 18 in 2010. He didn't meet her until 2014, which she would have been around 22.

Yeah, it's Smiley from the "Evil Ernie" indie comic series. Basically every kid or teen who spent time in a comic book shop in the early to mid 90s would recognize him. Evil Ernie was basically a shitty, poorly drawn and colored "edgy" series that would only appeal to budding edgelords. I had the first issue, but didn't keep up because, well, other than edge (which by today's internet influenced standards is about as tame as "Peanuts") everything else about it sucked.
