I can justify some disconnect, because not everyone mourns the same way, but this bitch is hard core emotionally stunted. The phrase of this whole thread should be “because that’s what you’re ‘supposed’ to do” anytime someone asks why these mongoloids feign any emotion or semblance of “adulting”.

I grew up in a part of the country with plenty of generational poverty and people growing up in squalor. Many of them (or their kids, at least) conducted their lives with dignity. Only the ones with severe mental defects acted on the same level as Kim. The trashy upbringing alone does not explain this degree of dysfunction. It’s probably fucked genes.

I grew up around a lot of poor “trashy” people as well.some of them may have reacted more with anger as grief than “regular” people but there was still emotion, I honestly only knew one family who was as stunted as Kim and this was a family of multi generational meth-heads whose kids had been getting High since the ages of 10-12. Im guessing there was a lot of weird shit that happened behind closed doors but the kids were just emotionally stunted completely.

I agree re: being disgusted by the baby. It's gross and horrifying. Everything about Kim is horrifying.

I think it's normal to feel revulsion at the sight of an obviously deformed infant. Our brains are wired to promote the survival of our species, and that necessarily requires us to exclude unfit offspring. In a time when resources were very scarce, our brains evolved to prevent us from nurturing infants that had no hope of surviving to procreate. It's an atavistic impulse to reject an infant that would only be a drain on our "clan".

It's uncomfortable, because we live in a time with nearly infinite resources, so we rarely encounter this part of ourselves. It's there, though, and you're not weird or bad to acknowledge it.

Well said and probably 100% accurate. That’s why I tried to have sympathy for her, because obviously she’s had a rough life, trauma, etc. But clearly that sympathy is misplaced.
Kim’s demeanor reminds me of certain women, usually young moms like Kim, in police interrogations. Almost always it turns out they or their boyfriend has killed their child, but the Kim-types show zero emotion while being questioned about their missing or dead kid. Every single time. At most they get upset about getting caught. Weird huh?

I don’t think her sense of morality ever developed past that of a 5 year old. She’s grown now, but Kim was likely neglected/ abused too. More then likely, Aiden will grow up to be a shit bag…and the cycle continues . Kristie posted a few really depressing lives about JJ , who was cheating on her apparently and has totally moved on. Were they legally married? Who has the last name of freeman?
