Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Kenya, Senegal, Ghana and (especially lately) Rwanda made it work to a certain extent. Botswana, Zambia, Kenya and Namibia have prominent white minorities and their race relations are quite good.

The US military had drones during the Gulf War. Hell even the Soviet Union had drones when they still existed, some of the same models which are even being used in the Ukraine-Russia war. The drones I speak of were unarmed but were certainly used for calling in artillery and other recon.

I dunno, he would've lasted like 30-60 seconds on adrenaline before his body realized it's got some new holes and collapsed in a heap. Some major arteries running down there, nick one and he's down even faster.

If instead of a poorly-trained security guard it would've been some firearms enthusiast, would've just aimed for the head. Not sure what kinda distance it happened from but doesn't take much practice to get consistent hits on a head size target from a handgun up to 50 yards.

People who aren't from NY a lot of times don't realize how gigantic NY State actually is because nothing is ever talked about except NYC. From NYC to Buffalo is easily an 8 hour drive. So between NYC and Buffalo that's a lot of land to just be called "upstate NY". The shooter drove from Binghamton to Buffalo, which in itself is about a 3 1/2 hour drive.

I've been to Binghamton plenty of times (Good college town to perform in) but that's only about a 5 hour drive so I can do the drive, perform, and drive back. I've also played in Buffalo and Rochester - both of those I need a hotel room because it's too far to drive to, perform, and drive back. Also if you haven't been to Buffalo - it's depressing. It's like Pittsburgh since the steel industry crashed. Like 75% of the store fronts have "For Rent" signs in them. I've played the Buffalo convention center. When it rains, the roof leaks. Even Rochester is nothing to write home about after Kodak went under. These are the kinds of places where a single corporation or business employs like 90% of the town.

A lot of times union crews loading in shows can be real fucking pain in the asses and near impossible to work with, but when I've performed in Buffalo the union crews there are extremely easy going and cool because they never work so they don't rock the boat when they do work. One union guy loading in the show I was playing on 3 years ago had told me it was the first time in 3 months he had worked.

So even though I feel absolutely terrible for what happened in Buffalo and those poor people who were killed, I don't feel a direct connection to them as New Yorkers. It's so far away it could be another state (I'm in NYC). Also if you're not familiar with NY State, what I've just told you about the distances should underscore why so much of upper NY is so bitter about how the extremely blue 5 boroughs of NYC dictate the fucked up policies for the rest of NY - even Buffalo which is 8 hours away.

Only issue with that; a competent trained marksman won't go for the head, they go for center of mass. Normal combat stress is hell on most of the body functions that dictate aim, so anyone who legit is training to shoot in a bad situation goes for reflexive fire. Going for a jack o lanterning gets a lot less easy.

Having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, I'd say American (and Canadian) cities are an embarrassment and uniquely bad for mental health compared to many western nations. Many European cities have problems, no doubt, but damn it reaches cartoon levels in the much of the U.S.

What these leftists don't understand is Europe isn't even socialist. The Prime Minister of Denmark criticized Bernie Sanders for pointing to them as a model of democratic socialism. In some respects it's more capitalist than the U.S. Owning and operating a business is FAR easier in the Nordic countries and the Baltics than anywhere in the States.

A competent trained marksman would've noticed the perp is wearing a plate carrier and adjusted his shots accordingly. Again, not sure what the engagement distance was, but seeing as it's a supermarket it could not have been more than 20-30 yards, at which it's a doable shot. I would've aimed for the dick personally, but someone with better training could've pulled off a headshot easily, like the guy who stopped the Texas church shooter.
