That's what also grinds me gears directors who used to be good or at least had potential and to stay relevant as they got older into current year they decided to embrace going woke? I think every director from Del toro to the wachoskis to even speilburg has been guilty of this.

Time simply separates great directors from bores. The very good ones' can use any political or social climate to their advantage while pretenders will wallow in them to stay relevant. Just look at George Miller's Fury Road as a textbook case of Woke and Not Broke.

Gas station Gamblers. I just want to buy a pack of smokes, and almost every, single, fucking , time, there's a fucking wastoid cashing in and/or scratching 40+ tickets while a line forms behind them.
Not only are you wasting everyone's time, even if you win anything, you will blow through it all in a year. You're gambling on scratch tickets, you obviously have no self-control or financial responsibility. Go die in a fucking ditch and stop inconveniencing everyone else.

Years ago, I was involved in a summer activity and one of the other people involved wanted a ride to his neighborhood at the end of the night. I thought it was a one-time thing and no big deal. Wrong. Due to cuts in the local bus routes at that time, he needed a ride nearly every night and it grew burdensome because it was out of my way. Worse, the guy had an aversion to bathing and his BO got progressively worse over the summer. By the time I drove him for the last time, his BO was so bad, I'd drive home with all my windows rolled down on the expressway to air the car out before I got home.

It's one thing to help someone out who needs to go home after the last bus runs for the night. However, that person comes off as ungrateful when they expect it and flat out nasty when they don't bathe to the point their body odor stinks up the car of the person driving them home .

Zoomers complaining about anything is rich.

They were basically around when it became well known that college is a scam and that the internet is stealing all your data, and yet they still willingly throw all their money and information away on these things then cry about it.

Zoomers who argue that things like the state of the gaming industry and the state of the Internet are just dandy the way they are now while they have no clue how good they used to be drive me up a wall. Being complacent is bad enough, but advocating for and perpetuating the degradation of things out of sheer ignorance is ensuring that things will never have a chance to get better for anyone but the ruling class. These dumb brats defend censorship and microtransactions while not being bothered to play any golden age games or read a bunch of archived 4chan classic threads from the 2000s or early 2010s.

This applies to pretty much anything and everything, but vidya and the Internet come to mind as easy examples. Movies, tv shows, clothes, food quality, social norms, computers in cars, craftsmanship, everything requiring software and various connections, etc are all sliding down the slope while shit like health care quality is stagnating or worse.

When I worked at a pizza buffet a couple decades ago it was always a group of three-four Mexicans who did that. I assumed they were day laborers paid in cash. Sometimes we'd break a $100, other times we wouldn't. Depended on how much was in the safe and who the manager was.

Working at that pizza place pissed me off too. One part of the buffet was in the middle of the room, where you had to get in between customers to stock it. Of course the customers were prissy when you politely asked them to move so you could put a fresh pizza out , but they also bitched if there was no pizza out there.

The restaurant remodeled a few years after I quit and got rid of that bar. I'm glad, because it was not fun to deal with.

While @Ruin 's comment might be plausible, I would be also believe it's an attempt to reduce the likelihood of falling for a quick change scam -- especially for those places that hire teens that work behind the counter or cash register.

Years ago, the local ice cream place hired high school students to work part time over the summer. In response to an increase of customers paying for $1-$2 orders with $50 or $100 bills they started posting notices at the windows stating they would no longer accept anything higher than a $20 bill unless the order exceeded that amount.

A piss-off tangentially related to @keyboredsm4shthe2nd 's post was when my neighborhood used to have annual garage sales. Fifteen minutes before the official start time, and usually before most neighbors had their stuff outside, dealers would arrive and ask to buy as much as possible for as little as possible -- usually for less than the already low prices on stuff (think 10 cents for something already marked 50). On one occasion, I recall one of my parents calling out a suspected dealer and telling them the polite version of GTFO.
