One of these days Carlson is surely going to pick up on the fact that his paymaster is responsible for government censorship in the rest of the Anglosphere when he goes on one of his 'war on free speech' tirades. Will he mention it, however? I doubt it.

In NZ, there is one law for banning videos. It's simply a banned video law. It's used for child pornography and the Chch footage. The police wanted identifying information of users who accessed the video. They have prosecuted people in New Zealand for sharing it. The law they use is the same one they use for child pornography. That's why I told them to go fuck themselves.
Australia didn't have a similar law at that time but we promised NZ that we would prevent footage of the ChCh shooting being shared within Australia and it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that legislation making it illegal for Australians to access and share such content has been snuck in under the radar since then.

If I had to play total armchair anthropologist, it could be because Australia was settled in the 19th century, when Britain was culturally close towards its current state. This is in contrast to the US which was settled in the 17th century, when Britain had a more anti-authority streak (the English Civil War attests to this).
Unfortunately yes, the Jewish mind control is reaching it's zenith now. We had the longest covid lockdowns in the world, we had George Floyd protests here despite not having black people. You can get sued for hurting somebodies feelings, it is a silly place.
Even better, this government agency is impotently flailing around trying to get Lolcow LLC to do something to no avail.
