They're all fairly similar in a certain sense, I think NPD best suits because Ralph is incapable of recognising his problems and accepting they are problems and he caused them. Plus, he can be very grandiose about himself and the Killstream. A show basically noone watches.

I had to live with a guy who had BPD, he was one of the worst people I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. Yet, he knew and accepted he had a problem, that his behaviour was at fault and that he needed help for it.

His sincerity in wanting to change was another matter entirely, if you've ever dealt with people who have BPD you'll notice they almost relish the ability to blame their behaviour on "the disease".

Ralph doesn't even do that, the most you get is when someone points out his behaviour being behind these issues is him saying "well yeah aknow, but Yoo know what it was probably yoooo".

Usually men with BPD get misdiagnosed as having NPD, but it really could be a tossup. They all definitely have a certain amount of crossover...
All I know is that going full armchair psych mode, he's got a ton of BPD symptoms (though tbf, he probably has a ton of NPD symptoms too lol).

Ralph has wigger sociopathy. It’s not as deep as you might think, but it shares a lot of characteristics with the DSM version.

First off, sociopathy isn’t a superpower. It’s more like a form of retardation. Sociopaths certainly play framing games to try to set targets up to look bad, but they do it compulsively rather than in any selective way, even when anyone could tell you it’s not going to work. They’re not really hard to spot.

Now, Ralph checks those boxes, but you can clearly see that it’s gotten worse over time as he pickles what’s left of his brain with meth and bottom shelf booze. Just straight up blowing up at people isn’t a normal sociopathic behavior because there’s no game at all to it, it just blows up your spot instantly

BPD would make sense, but the symptoms usually EASE as you age, not intensify. Like, going on 40 is when BPD people actually have a chance of a relationship lasting more than a year.

I really think he’s just done this to himself by using wiggery as a cope to dismiss his insecurity, and the drug and alcohol abuse demotivate him enough with hangovers to make sure he’ll never do anything to increase his genuine self esteem between now and death
