I agree. That and how they bonded together over a “problem” that they had in common, which one can only assume was Kat being able to relate to Phil’s alcoholism.
I often wonder what Kats addiction was/is. Which drug seems most likely? My guess is stimulants because of her swimsuit model body.
I wish I could find the video, but I think it’s the one where dsp is talking about the pandemic and he’s saying that they both stayed safe, got vaxed, etc. Then he’s like “kats been staying clean” and for a split second you can tell he catches himself that moment as if he was letting the cat out of the bag so to say (puts on his googly shifty eyes) and continues along the lines of “she’s been
cleaning her hands and keeping the house
clean”, as if to save face. I know it sounds like I put way too much thought into this, but is it really that far fetched to think that dsp bonded with a woman from fucking Michigan who was previously addicted to drugs (perhaps in part due to a traumatic upbringing, broken home, etc) while crying about drinking too much gin because the trolls are meanies? Sounds like Kat had real drug addiction issues, unlike dsp who is a poser in pretty much everything in life. Her weight gain is probably in part due to rehab also. He’s keeping all of this drug addiction talk on the downlow because he’s ashamed of her. She might be reminding him of his cousin or adopted sister or whatever, who was also a legit drug addict.
