It took me this long to realize that Jen talks like a whiny, petty crybaby online because he used to use Something Awful. One of the saddest facts of life you learn to accept when older is that pedophiles aren't on a single side, they're everywhere. It turns out that being a pedo is self serving, that they'll worm their way into anything to get access to the youth. Learning to kick out the people like that in a big group you're a part of is part of keeping your fandom or movement healthy. Denial lets them flourish.
