🐱 Everyone Is Horny For ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’

CatParty

The first trailer for Disney + television series She Hulk: Attorney At Law has dropped just in time to help you smash through hump day.

Tatiana Maslany will play Bruce Banner’s cousin as the titular She-Hulk in a new television series arriving August 17.

Maslany plays Jennifer Walters, who is endowed with her uncle’s signature big green smashy energy after a life-saving blood infusion. Hilarity will ensue as Maslany is forced to simultaneously navigate her dating life and day job as a federal prosecutor in her new Hulk form.

Jessica Gao has signed as principal writer and director of She-Hulk, and honestly what would we expect from the writer whose prior credits include that cursed Rick and Morty episode ‘Pickle Rick’.

While the show is currently being described as a “legal comedy” by Marvel president Kevin Feige, the majority of reactions on the internet right now sure as hell aren’t over the legislative framework of the Marvel legal universe.

Yes unsurprisingly, people are already getting the horn for She-Hulk. Specifically, one particular moment in the trailer has captured the hearts and minds of the internet where Maslany carries a potential suitor off to the bedroom.

There’s also a small amount of criticism regarding how She-Hulk is depicted in the trailer, with users complaining that She-Hulk isn’t thicc enough compared to her male counterpart.

A cursory look into the dank tomes of Marvel Universe lore suggests that this is a feature, not a bug, as Walter’s transformation process differs from that of Bruce Banner.

Despite how Freudian all this lust is, with the outcome of the federal election haunting my weak frame, I would really like to be carried to the safety of my own bed by a gigantic woman right now.

The actress doesn't do it for me.

I don't know why either.

I mean, I loved She Hulk comics because they always had a bit of tongue in cheek in them. This actress doesn't feel like her, you know?

I've got a feeling we're going to see more "quirky slice of life" bullshit where she's in diners and shit then we see her dealing with court cases or her own villains.

I've also got a feeling they're going to make her just as strong or stronger than the Hulk because of reasons, despite the fact that part of her charm was she wasn't and she knew her limitations. Her attitude kept her out of the trouble the Hulk got into, but then, they've gotten rid of Ross and the Hulk Busters.

This is going to fucking blow.

They should've copied what Futurama did.
The funny part is that futurama was just doing a parody

This was also on FOX in the late 90's

Maybe because the original is typically drawn to also be attractive. She's usually better dressed too; she is a professional lawyer, after all.

She's also not weak or "baseline constantly afraid" like this portrayal. I think Hollywood writers only know 1 type of female transformation story any more: mousy, intelligent, but underappreciated woman undergoes makeover/transformation/wacky event and becomes SUPER HOT through the magic of GRRRRL POWAH!

(Except this time the SUPER HOT gets ruined by bargain basement CGI, holy hell what are you doing Marvel...)

She-Hulk done by the same people who did Iron Man 1 might have been worthwhile; She-Hulk done by the post-Endgame crew is guaranteed garbage.

I don't know why they didn't go with a different actress. There must be heaps of over 6 ft women out there like Brigite Nelson or Hazel Wallace that would love to be actors but can't get in the door because they'd be taller than the male lead. They could've just pulled a Captain America and paste her face on the small girl in the beginning. Would've saved them heaps on shoddy CGI.

Because hollywood or movie/video media in general stopped giving a shit about "attractiveness" a long time ago. If the woman on the screen is not as normal as the normalfags watching it, then it can't be relate-able or some horseshit. It's why they put fat unattractive chicks in fucking everything, especially tv commercials/YouTube ads.

Being an attractive good looking woman has now become a crime.

I agree, but to be fair, the last time this franchise went practical it resulted in something that looks, well... a bit dated.

It's not all terrible, however it doesn't match current MCU's aesthetic at all.
