I wasn’t a Farmer in the twitch days so I don’t see how gifted subs is such a game changer?
His 1 or 2 big whales will still have the same pot of money to donate; does it matter if it’s through sock memberships or gifting it to strangers?

Gifted subs let his whales make it seem like his community is way more active/supportive than it is, and it helps him hit his arbitrary membership goals which are what he uses for an excuse to do his horrible mukbangs and lazy reaction videos.

I believe with youtube you have to go through a lot more steps to sign up sock accounts to be members, and its probably more hassle. From a dent's perspective its just easier to click a few buttons to gift memberships than it is to sign up sock accounts for a membership.

It's actually 30% but your overall point is correct, on average the total fees for a big whale tip through PayPal would be less than 10% compared to the 30% that Susan takes.

Basically on Twitch you can gift subs to anyone, literally anyone. With YT you need more specified people, and at the moment it seems limited on those that have their memberships turned on (on twitch you have the option to turn gifting off), not only that but it seems they have to be active to accept their membership so REDACTED needs to be logged into those socks to accept it. In regards to making socks members via payment options that seems limited to what was it 50 per phone number which is why the members got stuck at a certain point.
To summarise this is all so Phil doesn't feel like the useless boring retard he is, when he cries about chat being slow or dead the realisation hits him and thats one thing the socks can't fix. Hey Phil!

I'm so glad DSP has finally acknowledged that he's shit at games and become a vapid drama streamer. Drama streaming is the best for him because it's just pulling shit out of your ass in reaction to things that other people are doing. It's zero effort.
I'm also glad that DSP has finally accepted that the only reason John and Rambo were in his life were him to make money off of—first by exploiting them, then by that scummy donation animation that literally blurs them out, and now watching their video on stream. All this time he's pretended they don't exist. I bet he's feeling really clever for finding one more way to take advantage of them.
