This isn't true. Fiber causes constipation and bloating. Most (if not all) vegetables are harmful (google: antinutirients, oxalates, goitrogens). You don't need vegetables for vitamins. Meat, especially liver, has all the vitamins you need. #carnivore #zerocarb

Please explain how to stop diverticulitis with only meat. I'm not trying to steer this conversation into idiotic food sperging but you really do need something to clean out the pockets of the intestines or it leads to an increased chance of diverticulitis. Also, I'm pretty sure that whatever Nicky boy is eating, it's not as nutritious as whatever you make at home. All I've see in this thread is brown mush.

I legitimately can't tell if some things are bait because I've heard that same talk from people who were quite serious. Also, a lack of vegetables and such is actually quite bad for the gut flora.

Like when parents would feed their toddlers boiled vegetables instead of lightly roasting them. Broccoli tastes so much better when it's not boiled, but then again spinach in my opinion tastes better raw than boiled but you end up losing more nutrients when it's not cooked.

Fiber doesn't clean your colon. That's just fake science or food marketing propaganda. Fiber clogs you up because fiber is indigestible. Your colon will work perfectly fine with no fiber.

You guys are completely bluepilled on food and repeating either bad science or food industry propaganda. Long story short, you don't need veggies and they're the most toxic food, carbs and fruits are bad if you have diabetes but they don't contain anti nutrients that harm you.

I like how you didn't explain how to avoid diverticulitis and also didn't talk about gut flora. You do realize that a healthy biome is good for you, correct? How do you keep your gut flora healthy with only meat? Diverticula usually develop when naturally weak places in your colon give way under pressure. This causes marble-sized pouches to protrude through the colon wall. Diverticulitis occurs when diverticula tear, resulting in inflammation, and in some cases, infection
I don't know why you're hung up on diverticulitis. It doesn't say it's caused by eating low fiber. I think you're harping on this as some gotcha ya.

This is all just food marketing propaganda. Your gut flora is created by what you eat. If you eat a bunch of beans, you'll develop gut flora that feasts on beans and gives you gas. Actually the best gut flora is on a zero carb diet because carbs (including soluable fiber iirc) get fermented in the gut and that causes bloating and gas.

Look, just because some school textbook or TV commercials say X (fiber is good for the gut, you need probiotics to promote good gut flora) doesn't mean it's true. This is food marketing propaganda based on shitty studies.

This is complete pant shitting hysteria. So-called anti-nutrients act like dietary fiber. They alter insulin response, cholesterol, and immune response. Lots of things. Humans have eaten plants for millions of years.

You shouldn't load up on grain carbs, but they're not poison.
