For all that they loom large in the lore of the SRS thread in Community Watch, phalloplasties are still vanishingly rare. Most FTMs, while crazy, are not that crazy.

She offers them according to her website but, like you correctly pointed out, no patients (at least, none that spoke out on social media). Even her mastectomies get mixed reviews.
My guess is that Sneed follows the same template as Kathy Rumer - her results are terrible but she still gets victims by taking patients that even other SRS surgeons agree are too risky; this also explains the focus on mastectomies since they are a quicker surgery with less recovery time compared to amhole/armdick installation. The difference is that Rumer does it by taking literally every insurance including Medicaid while Sneed does it by aggressively targeting vulnerable people and operating on deathfats. I didn't think it was possible but Sneed is somehow worse than a serial malpractice defendant who got deemed "the Butcher of Ardmore".

This is only anecdotal, but many kiwis in the troon threads have noticed that a lot of FTMs are more feminine in their behaviour (and often in body shape too) than the average woman. It's an odd phenomenon. Of course there also hardcore bulldykes trooning out, but a lot of the new crop are extremely feminine and sensitive petite women.

Its bc its mostly a body modification fad/movement at this point, with the added bonus of a major social credit upgrade. At least for a non-insignificant portion of FtMs. Its something like 4x more young females than young males identify as trans or nb. Also, bulimia and other eating disorders have decreased by the same amount for those same females.
Must be just a coincidence, im sure.
Someone earlier in the thread made the great point that young girls are also being told that sex work is empowering, being introduced to the notion that anal and choking are "normal" and "empowering", as well as all the normal gender role bullshit. Kinda makes sense that some girls who dont find that type of shit appealing, would opt in to being a dude lmfao. Especially since you get asspats and social cred when you do it. Also, i highly doubt most of these girls have even seen in depth bottom surgery pics, and you KNOW they arent viewing them or the rhetoric anywhere except for in their echo chambers.
Its honestly become a bit of a maelstrom of issues that positively feedback into themselves at this point.

And back in the day the "anorexic girl" at school would be treated like a delicate, consumptive queen who we all wanted to be (some girls succeeded, I unfortunately had the willpower of a dopehead in an illegal cannabis growhouse). So there was a time in middle school where everyone would be trying to be anorexic, or pretending to be.
No matter how many books and PSAs came out about eating disorders, we all looked upon the image of the waifish victim with a twinge of jealousy and wished we could entertain such a condition - while not knowing that the real anorexics were deeply fucked up and most likely with a background of child sexual abuse. I mean, I look at all the times in my life I was skinny skinny, and I was often going through hard shit.
FTM seems so much easier, you can just pay someone to do the "hard work" for you by yeeting a teet, cutting your hair and buying a checkered shirt from Goodwill.
(I have to mention I saw a video recently from a guy who had been to SXSW and there was a FEMALE they/them keynote speaker doing videos of "what girls hear growing up" vs "what boys hear growing up" and this guy was appalled - in her presentation girls were always criticised while young boys receive NON STOP AFFIRMATION and are never once criticized for anything. This is what she/they believed being a man is like. Which everyone normal can tell you, is absolutely not the case.)
