It's been a while but didn't Sam's home time get shown very, very sparingly?
If they're leading with that I suspect this will become The Quantum Leap Crew (with Sam)
 
I didn't even know it had been renewed for a second season. I feel bad for everyone out of a job, except the ones who put them out of work by creating an unwatchable TV show.
