Nevada school board taking heat for stopping mother from reading daughter’s X-rated homework

The pervasive failings of government-run education were exposed again when a Nevada mother’s public comment was shut down for inappropriate content; “amazing, isn’t it?”

Douglas Murray, Fox News contributor and author of “The War on the West,” joined “Fox & Friends” Wednesday to discuss a video from a Clark County School Board meeting outside Las Vegas, Nevada.

Made viral by social media account Libs of TikTok, the portion of the meeting included a mother reading out an assignment that she said her 15-year-old daughter was required to memorize and then “act out.”

“This will be horrifying for me to read to you,” she said, “but that will give you perspective on how she must have felt when her teacher required her to memorize this and to act it out in front of her entire class.”

“I don’t love you,” the mother read. “It’s not you, it’s just, I don’t like your d*ck – or any d*ck in that case. I cheated, Joe.”

An indistinguishable outcry can be heard that interrupts the mother before members of the school board begin to interject on the inappropriate content being recited. The chairwoman can be heard saying, “I ask you simply – this is a public meeting. I ask for decorum.”

“Yes, and it’s…too hardcore for the sensitive ears of the school board, but fine for 15-year-old daughter. That is amazing, isn’t it?” Murray expressed to Fox News.

The mother went on to say, “If you don’t want me to read it to you, what was it like for my 15-year-old daughter to have to memorize pornographic material.”

Murray continued his critical analysis adding, “And one of the things that just strikes me about this is, once again, you have a school board that’s pretending to listen to the parents but really isn’t interested in parent feedback. We’ve seen this again and again. We saw it on the CRT stuff. They pretend that they’re listening, but they really don’t seem to care that they cut this mom off. They pretend that, oh, well you know, you’re using profanities we can’t have that. Any excuse other than accountability.”

In fact, initially the Clark County School District released a statement to explain they were “aware of a video circulating on social media alleging a member of the public was not given their full time for public comment. The full video,” they then contended, “is available at the link below showing the individual was given their full time for public comment.”

Hours later, after they were chastised for their continued failure to understand the issue, they added to the statement and wrote, “The Clark County School District is investigating the circumstances surrounding a class assignment consisting of a student-generated writing exercise that produced content not conducive to student instruction.”

“The District,” they went on, “does not comment on individual employee or personnel issues, and all policies and procedures are being followed.”
Murray went on to note the abysmal state of American government education when compared to the rest of the world, as it places agenda-driven content ahead of instruction that provides the necessary tools to be competitive in the marketplace. As has been the case with other school boards that have been exposed for defending their curriculum rather than addressing the genuine concerns of parents, the consensus supported Murray’s take.

A lot going on in this school district these days. (archive)

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Clark County School District parents are outraged after they said their students’ teacher showed an anti-abortion video in her classroom. Parents said the video showed a dramatized reenactment of the abortion procedure by a faith-based performance group.

The YouTube video parents referred to showed a group of young performers on-stage, pretending to be an unborn fetus; at one point writhing and screaming in pain while pretending to be terminated by a doctor.

Sixth graders told their parents that their teacher showed them the disturbing content in their reading class at Thurman White Academy of the Performing Arts, a magnet school in Henderson.

The parents said that their students “are now traumatized,” and parents are now reaching out to district employees, demanding answers.

“He’s just so stressed and upset and uptight about it,” said Haleigh Isbill, one of the parents of a 12-year-old. “He was so bothered, that like, he doesn’t even want to be in the same room when we talked about what happened.”

Isbill said “she cannot express just how upset she is,” because she said the content was inappropriate for the classroom.

“It’s not an indictment on her beliefs even, it’s, don’t show that to our babies. That’s inappropriate for public school,” said Isbill.

On Monday, parents said the video was so disturbing, it would have even required a trigger warning for adults.

lol.

Sure is funny how this just keeps on happening. What exactly are they investigating whenever they say bureaucrat-speech like this? How to not get caught next time?

Damn, and I thought this was gonna be sometjing along the lines of pic related:

More teachers getting minors to act out their sexual fantasies, this shit has gotten so bizzare and the fact that we never see these teachers or school board members arrested for it is just strange.

For persepctive, if some pervert goes on Snapchat or Omegle or TikTok and asks a 15 year old girl to say these things in a video for them, they'd have police at their door for getting a minor to do a "sexualized performance" but teachers and school board members are free to do it.

Wait so some Karen is butthurt her high-schooler has assigned reading with bad words? Lmao when I was in high school Clockwork Orange and Lord of the Flies were required reading, she would shit herself if she knew what those books involve

Plus part of the curriculum for abstinence only sex ed involves showing middle schoolers pics of diseased genitals, you'd if high schoolers seeing the word dick is too much they'd flip their shit over middle schoolers being shown photographs of diseased ones.

Name the part in A Clockwork Orange where one of the characters coerces an 11 year girl into sex and then tells her she should lop her tits off and live as a boy. You can't because even in a dystopian novel about a psychopathic street gangs you won't find shit that degenerate.

Do it, post the page number and chapter.

That bureaucratic response at the end is the reason nothing happens. There's an investigation, they double check their procedures handbook, then they issue a "steps have been taken to address the matter" and never discuss it again. It's bureaucracy shielding its own. The teachers are not educators, they are bureaucrats, part of a system that pursues its own goals, regardless of how its stakeholders feel.

Notice how every time this hits national news, it's always public schools? In private schools, you complain to the principal/headmaster directly, and he issues a clear statement. He directly addresses parent's concerns, because if he doesn't they pull their kids from the school and his budget goes down next year.

This is 100% a result of parents having no power over the school. These school board meetings are not a check on the school structure, they're a venting mechanism, one that the boards would love to eliminate altogether if they could.

But none of these books have any actual literary value, the only reason they're published is because a black person, a troon, a homo, etc. wrote them which is also the only reason they're on the school reading list.

Isn't there a part where the main character and his gang rape little girls? That got changed into them having consensual sex with grown women in the film adaptation? Or something like that.

It's missing the tidde chopping but yeah IIRC that book does feature characters molesting children (because the protagonist is a sociopath)
EDIT: yep, main character drugs and rapes 2 preteen girls at one point

Also if this chick was in high school during the 70s/early 80s there's a decent chance she read Flowers in the Attic since it was the hit book w/teen girls back then. If so, LMAOOO

Homie I live in the Bible Belt and when I was in school science textbooks were legally required by the county to have stickers that said "evolution is a theory not a fact" inside the covers.
