Charlie, warm up the Chinook. Taking a school board, teacher, maybe school administrators for a ride. Yuri, you're flying right seat with me.

Nevada school board taking heat for stopping mother from reading daughter’s X-rated homework

The pervasive failings of government-run education were exposed again when a Nevada mother’s public comment was shut down for inappropriate content; “amazing, isn’t it?”

Douglas Murray, Fox News contributor and author of “The War on the West,” joined “Fox & Friends” Wednesday to discuss a video from a Clark County School Board meeting outside Las Vegas, Nevada.

Made viral by social media account Libs of TikTok, the portion of the meeting included a mother reading out an assignment that she said her 15-year-old daughter was required to memorize and then “act out.”

“This will be horrifying for me to read to you,” she said, “but that will give you perspective on how she must have felt when her teacher required her to memorize this and to act it out in front of her entire class.”

“I don’t love you,” the mother read. “It’s not you, it’s just, I don’t like your d*ck – or any d*ck in that case. I cheated, Joe.”

An indistinguishable outcry can be heard that interrupts the mother before members of the school board begin to interject on the inappropriate content being recited. The chairwoman can be heard saying, “I ask you simply – this is a public meeting. I ask for decorum.”

“Yes, and it’s…too hardcore for the sensitive ears of the school board, but fine for 15-year-old daughter. That is amazing, isn’t it?” Murray expressed to Fox News.

The mother went on to say, “If you don’t want me to read it to you, what was it like for my 15-year-old daughter to have to memorize pornographic material.”

Murray continued his critical analysis adding, “And one of the things that just strikes me about this is, once again, you have a school board that’s pretending to listen to the parents but really isn’t interested in parent feedback. We’ve seen this again and again. We saw it on the CRT stuff. They pretend that they’re listening, but they really don’t seem to care that they cut this mom off. They pretend that, oh, well you know, you’re using profanities we can’t have that. Any excuse other than accountability.”

In fact, initially the Clark County School District released a statement to explain they were “aware of a video circulating on social media alleging a member of the public was not given their full time for public comment. The full video,” they then contended, “is available at the link below showing the individual was given their full time for public comment.”

Hours later, after they were chastised for their continued failure to understand the issue, they added to the statement and wrote, “The Clark County School District is investigating the circumstances surrounding a class assignment consisting of a student-generated writing exercise that produced content not conducive to student instruction.”

“The District,” they went on, “does not comment on individual employee or personnel issues, and all policies and procedures are being followed.”
Murray went on to note the abysmal state of American government education when compared to the rest of the world, as it places agenda-driven content ahead of instruction that provides the necessary tools to be competitive in the marketplace. As has been the case with other school boards that have been exposed for defending their curriculum rather than addressing the genuine concerns of parents, the consensus supported Murray’s take.

Yes, but she is fat, and her slam readings of porn fic do not turn me on. 0/10 would not have sex with.
Imagine the smell.

But seriously, if you hold her up against the other posters who disagree with the zeitgeist of A&H she's actually hard as nails and manages to retain her sense of humor even while we're dogpiling her. I've never seen her revenge-rate anyone and I'd be surprised as hell to find out she reported somebody for calling her a chubby dyke with a baby-killing fetish.

Contrast that with posters who cope, seethe and dilate while hiding behind the jannies. She's a rare gem and the board would suffer if she went away.

Who? The gays, dykes and their retard enablers in public education. You must be so proud of your people.

The names? In this case we don't know that for sure, but there's lots of fag grooming materials being forced on children in schools. I understand that you don't see the issue because you hate children and probably lust for preteen ass but it's happening.
Citations or it didn't happen

Now I just miss AshytheAngel... degenerate ass furry but was fun to bullshit with.

Ah finally some teachers in my area that I can go out and Minecraft™. Seriously though, making a teenager memorize and then recite anything about dicks as a mandatory assignment should be grounds for immediate termination of that teacher and whoever approved this material.
Hell yeah I'm all for terminating teachers telling kids dumbass shit about dicks, like that putting a condom on one offers no protection against HIV (something I remember being taught in abstinence only sex ed in 8th grade).
Imagine the smell.

Aww thanks, yeah I just come here to blow off steam, who the fuck would take anything posted in the Autism Thunderdome of all places seriously I have no idea

Wait so some Karen is butthurt her high-schooler has assigned reading with bad words? Lmao when I was in high school Clockwork Orange and Lord of the Flies were required reading, she would shit herself if she knew what those books involve

Plus part of the curriculum for abstinence only sex ed involves showing middle schoolers pics of diseased genitals, you'd if high schoolers seeing the word dick is too much they'd flip their shit over middle schoolers being shown photographs of diseased ones.
You know how you say you don't want children? Make sure you never do.
Homie I live in the Bible Belt and when I was in school science textbooks were legally required by the county to have stickers that said "evolution is a theory not a fact" inside the covers.
That is correct, it is a theory and it is revised all the time. Neanderthals are now a subspecies of modern human as H. sapiens neanderthalensis, and Densovians closely related but separate, whereas before they were classified as a separate species of ancient primate.
sex ed in 8th grade.
Bitch please I was still playing with dolls. That's for parents to discuss with their kids, not some queer enby degenerate dyke going on about fisting and waving a bunch of dildos around.

The problem with leaving sex ed as solely up to the parents, is that some parents are like the Duggars (or worse, the Rods).

Even so, it's not the school's job, and that pesky First Amendment takes precedence, regardless. It's called the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of LGBTBBQ Feels.
It is the schools job when some parents refuse to give their children even basic necessary info about their bodies.

What's the name of this book? I mean, from the line of the book that the parent read it doesn't seem too inappropriate for a high schooler to read. I read Catcher in the Rye freshman year.

What pisses me off is that the school board refused to listen to the mom, and said that quoting her daughter's assigned reading as "inappropriate." If it's appropriate for 15 yo's homework, it should be okay to talk about it's content during a school board meeting. This leads me to believe there could be more to this book than the school is letting on.
I don't think it's actually from a real book, the school district's tapdancing around an apology on Twitter indicates it was a "student generated" writing assignment. My best guess is it's one of those deals where the kids had to write something then trade papers and do a dramatic reading of someone else's essay or poem or whatever. I've seen woke teachers do that kind of thing a lot, the more you can force the smart kids and stupid kids, the decent kids and the thoroughly degenerate groomed kids, to co-mingle and muddle up, the better it is for your Harrison Bergeron world.

Ah yep here- local parent advocacy group confirms:

No, it is not. A community may define how a school may educate their children. This is why they pay taxes. If you want to change they way a particular school district educates students then running for the school board is the solution, to propose such changes; however, if they are contrary to the law, or community standards, you will be SOL. Then you may move to a district that better suits your needs..

At no time are sexually graphic materials and deviant sexual practices appropriate to teach to elementary school children (or at any level tbh) without parental consent, or in violation of the law. But why worry, you claim you are never having children so it doesn't concern you.

That line is probably fine if used in context in a late HS book, like jr/sr year. I was assigned or given the option to read books that covered sexual, racial, violent, or other controversial topics, and I'm sure most of you were too.

What's not fine is making a high school student "perform" that line as an acting exercise in front of a class. That's fucked up, no one should be forced to act out sexual topics in class. Especially now since everyone has a camera phone and could use it out of context to humiliate her. The teacher is either retarded or a pervert (or both).

I agree that exposing things like this on record in school board meetings is the right call. Keep shining sunlight on it.

EDIT: Saw the clarification that it was "student generated", but the teacher checked them before assigning them out. Students will always be edgelords, no surprise. The teacher is obviously a groomer that deserves a helicopter ride.

Who the fuck is teaching elementary schoolers about deviant sexual practices, and what does it have to do with a high schooler reading a book with the word dick in it?

If you have an insane fundie parent that won't even tell you about periods and shit, you gotta learn about that stuff from somewhere. Maybe if all parents could be trusted to provide that info to kids it would be different, but unfortunately that isn't the case (especially in the south).
