  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
"Historically" when? Where? Wtf are you talking about? When women were working as nurses and teachers and librarians and dressmakers? When they were fishwives and bakers and selling produce and goods in booths and at markets as depicted in medieval drawings? Lmfao what are you even on about?
Follow the conversation mate. We aren't talking about medieval Europe. We are talking about societies that were polygamous. Was Medieval Christian Europe polygamous? Think societies far more ancient, like Ancient Israel, and other near Eastern cultures. We are talking older than the Roman Empire. In polygamous societies, like Ancient Israel, women didn't "work" outside the home. They didn't have trades or jobs. They weren't soldiers, carpenters, or blacksmiths. The expectation was that a woman would marry and take care of her household and have plenty of children who help their father with the land and inherit it. Any woman who didn't marry, or found herself without a husband due to circumstance, were left without any recourse to take care of themselves. They either, starved, begged, or prostituted themselves. This is why the Bible payed special attention to telling people to take care of widows and orphans. If a woman was lucky, she might be cared for another way if there was a way to make provision. For example, if a man was married and he died without heir, if he had a brother who lived, his brother would marry his wife and sire a child by her, to ensure that his brother's household would have an inheritor. Some cultures allowed a woman to return to her father's house, if possible, or be married off again. But we aren't talking about medieval Europe.

Without the caption I would think family photo, your husband doesn't "have a type" he's just replacing you with a younger model.

Yup because that's how relationships should be viewed, as collecting people.

He found a new kinky woman and slowly stopped paying attention to you to play with his new side piece? Who could have seen that coming?

Little cuck boy couldn't get any dick because his mean wife told him off.

Wow weird how you dating a married man brings relationship issues to light in their marriage. Almost like those issues cause the open part in the first place.

Yup, your partner having a stay over at an old bang buddy's house and not responding to your check in text is totally you being possessive. Communication in a relationship totally kills the freedom of the partners.

You had an "amazing" relationship of 6 years so your first thought is "Hey let's fuck around" then when he's like "sure whatever" you just do it and burn the relationship to the ground. Still at least you managed to get him back like the good buck broken cuck he apparently is. Of course the comments are all about how she can work towards poly again with him over time.

"I kinda want to fuck around with girls but something about my partner wanting to fuck other people makes my insecurities worse. Maybe I should get therapy." No shit you need therapy though a "poly-friendly" one is a terrible idea. Though this problem will probably go away on its own, there is a reason he's shopping around.

Zzzzzzzz
My bad, I was following more closely the conversation about the polyamorous cretins from reddit, as per the title of the thread 🤷🏻‍♀️

The gay twink needs to call the cops on his bigass girl and run into the arms of his boyfriend. The wife breaking up with the meta one confuses me. She didn't break up with anyone. According to her, she just said she didn't want to hang out and wanted a day where she can hug her husband.

Story of a guy whose fiance thought he was a cuck but turns out he's just the quiet type.

the kind of 'due diligence' you'd need to do in order to sniff out something like this would probably be considered control freak behavior by most people though. shit like snatching her phone and reading through her texts and emails while she's busy.

A really despicable trend with these people is how they've weaponized internet echo chambers and cherry picked "therapy" as a means of bludgeoning insecure people into doubting themselves, and assuaging the guilt of people who know full well that what they're doing is wrong.
How the fuck does the opinion of some hack "therapist" or random idiots on reddit matter in any way? Even if everyone else thinks you're being totally irrational, at the end of the day they aren't the ones in the relationship and feelings don't have to be rational or popular to be valid.

Yeah I went to school for this, but thank you for adding info for the rest of the class because I'm too annoyed to even bother without collecting top hats. Hurrr women could never work unless they were whores durrrrr
Well they're whores regardless, it's just a question of whether it's their main profession or an unpaid hobby.
(And you went to school for this...are you suggesting you went for gender studies or something? You have to tell us if you did)

Academia is a waste of time and should be burned down, but God no, I did not go to school for gender studies, and you would be right to drag anyone who did. My particular waste of time and money was a period in history with no particular political/gender/race angle other than the ones the insane professors occasionally forced on it.
This thread isn't really my thing now that it's gone down this line of chat, and further one-on-one will shit up the thread anyway. I crave a return to the delicious dunking on "why is my life falling apart now that I've effectively nuked my stable relationship" screenshots lol, so I am unfollowing for now, but I say with no shade I hope you all enjoy yourselves :)

Well maybe, but 'I'm really not interested in you exclusively for sexy time' usually isn't extremely difficult to pick up on even without doing creepy spying stuff

That bitch got what she fucking deserved

EDIT: I'd be interested in the comments as well. I'm sure some idiots are reeeing about how he doesn't respect her desires and other assorted bullshit.

The transbian cult is such a hilarious concept. Purging themselves from the dating pool with zero grace in order to create the homogeny they so often rage at that other people desire.

Also, I've noticed some poly couples coming into my work the past couple of weeks. They're almost always fat, the men usually have a neckbeard, the women are caked in drag queen-styled makeup, and both often have tacky tattoos. There's also this weird quality that appears pretty consistent; a complete lack of charisma? Like this social awkwardness permeates around them. Oh, and the guy is 99% of the time straight while the woman is bi/bi-curious. Interesting that I never see them in threes or above.

Edit:

lol @ "polyam ethics"

It's from one of the relationship subreddits which all absolutely despise open relationships. https://www.reddit.com/r/relationsh...ance_wanted_an_open_marriage_so_i_called_off/

The updates are both insane and disappointing though now that I've read them. Turns out the therapist has a history of manipulating her patients into thinking all their problems are caused by not cheating enough, loves ruining as many relationships as possible, and eventually loses her license. The exfiancee, her family, and his own family gang up on him over and over again until they successfully convince him that his ex is just a helpless pet retard who won't do it again because now she knows she done bad. They all basically chanted "Please look at her boobs and take her back or she'll die from natural selection" at him everyday. I'd call him a cuck but she seems to have lowered herself a lot more than he did with the way she got him back. I'd also call it fake but it's weird he's still active on reddit with the same facade going on 4 years later.

It gets worse, far worse than eventually bending the knee so she can open it without his knowledge. He's also a copyright cuck.

That's really disappointing to hear if he actually went back to her. He did the best reasonable response to that happening and he should have just run far away and find someone not horrible to spend his life with.

If his family did guilt him into getting back together with her they must hate him something fierce. That's just evil to push someone that you know will make their lives miserable onto them, knowing that someday it will all blow up again but far far worse with the possibility of children and who knows what else involved. (:_(

Parents probably got too invested in her that they couldn't handle him splitting up with her. It resulted in them no caring how he feels as long as they get her as a daughter in law. I'm sure most people have experienced your parents keep prodding you to get back with an ex that you broke up with for good reason and/or being the next bf/gf after the ex your partner's parents really loved.

Seriously man, who needs enemies when he's got a family like that. He should have just fucked off to a different state, preferably as far away from them as possible, and blocked all their contacts.
