One possible group behind this seems to be anti-Vtubers and anti-idols and don't want another Vtuber group to go big in the mainland

Being a chink myself (I know, I know), the little pink army either doesn't know or doesn't care as long as their perceived image isn't slighted, but said image is very easy to slight.

Unfortunately I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the forum where the Coco antis gathered so I can't check there if anything's going on; for what it's worth, on Weibo there are a few people calling the tag "brain damaged rumour mongering" but most of the posts in the tag uses incredibly dense net slang I'm not actually familiar with.

Tried to check there and I may be looking at the wrong threads (fucking mainlander sites being godawfully obtuse to load up, same with weibo) but the NijiEn thread only just brought up the Luxiem merch and so far seem to be mostly talking about Lazulight and asking if you can learn English through watching chuuba. I'd look deeper on weibo but right now looking any deeper than the front page just gives me a blank screen; I don't actually know how I was let in earlier.

Precisely, it's like dealing with fucking Kim Jong Un, except without the occasional moments of cleverness. Not trying to politicize the topic (albeit my distaste for the bugmen is widely known), but the damage that a heavily distorted information system does to a populace is incalculable, I've never seen any Taiwanese act like Xi and his fanboys on the internet. Do note that when I say bugmen I don't mean the chinese people as a whole, just the kind of ultranationalistic retards that went after Coco and Haachama!

I wouldn't be surprised if Pippa were on some internal blacklist of Cover. Not that they are that anal about talent interactions in social media considering how much Kiara interacts with Pomu and Haachama with Kson, but Pippa's content is precisely the kind of thing that would make the purists in the fandom and Cover themselves shiver. Just being on the same screen as someone like the Gunt wouldn't be something they appreciate!

To be fair practically everyone is on a blacklist because management are retards. Except vshitshow for some reason....they can get collabs fine despite being the yab club.

It's probably down to the fact that barely anyone knows about Pippa or PhaseConnect. You don't see many holos interacting much with 2views either.
