Because natural gas is used in the process the proposed plant will be enclosed in an airtight, airlocked dome with a setup to capture all the released carbon and the ccp paid "environmentalists" threw a chimpout because the tech isnt proven and even if a little carbon leaks out it'll kill the planet.

And that was 20 years ago. We're doing fine on trees. But they're free to encourage growing more, if they want. I'd rather incentivize tree growth in yards instead of plain manicured grass.
