Watching them pull this shit makes someone want to burn down five unprotected rainforests and smoke three endangered species just to even it out!
Nah, the trees and forest frens aren't at fault. This makes one wanna drive a bulldozer into their mansions, then cyberattack their finances and insurance.

Yet another indicator of just how fucking nervous they are about upcoming elections
So predictable. By design, the sheer volume of applications would clog up the entire processing system. And with an FFL being your only avenue to legally own a firearm, the fed would essentially have a monopoly on “permission” for civilian gun ownership. No licenses would get issued, or they’d be issued at a rate of a handful a year.

They’d use the excuse of the logjam to tell people to expect years-long delays in receiving their licenses, and would respond to the outrage with “wElL, we’Re mOVinG aS fAst as wE cAN!!” And hiding behind the opacity of their agency, they’d be simply not issuing the licenses. They would have their fingers crossed in the hopes that the niggercattle would simply:
1.) Take them at their word and excuse the “waiting”
2.) Not even try because of the perceived difficulty/headache of getting the license
3.) Maybe lose interest in getting a gun when that sudden urge to arm up (like many felt after Fentanyl Floyd’s Summer of Love occurred) passes. In a way, this’d be like a 2020/masks-esque social engineering experiment to see if civilian gun ownership interest could be brought down.

All of those options are out of touch dreck in the context of anyone who is remotely determined with regard to their safety, but would be typical assumptions the historically incompetent US government would make.

This is why a lot of states are passing permit-less carry laws. While COVID exposed/changed a lot of shit in general, it also shined a bright light on the issues with firearms licensure, vis-à-vis the inordinate waiting times due to system strain. And with the heart of the issue being the simple exercising of a core constitutional right, these restrictions have come under some of their strongest scrutiny in years. Case in point, I had a relative in a New England state wait 6+ months to get a license. Call me optimistic, but with more than half the country trending this way, and with what appears to be a friendly SCOTUS ruling on the horizon, it looks as if some of these legislators see the writing on the wall. MA/NY/HI/CA/NJ/CT will try their hardest to maintain the most crushing laws possible, but as @Meat Target has demonstrated in past posts, there have been some decent 2A wins in recent years, hopefully forming a pathway to greater pro-2A reformation.

I would laugh my ass off if another Saint Floyd of Fentanyl happens and the dems try to quash the riots to avoid the bad publicity by saying they can't riot due to monkeypox.
That would only attract them more anger and hatred. Remember how they didn’t take that approach with COVID? Every gathering larger than your own household, or merely doing life admin shit, was an OMG SUPERSPREADURRRRRR. At the same time, Fauci and every democrat were deafeningly silent on COVID transmission/infection risk in the context of BLM protests, largely due to political opportunism and orange man bad. This was one of the most infuriating aspects of that year, considering the murders/property damage/business losses.

Any leftist-centric gathering was deemed kosher, while anything to the right of Mao (remember Sturgis and the anti-lockdown protests?) was mocked and denigrated as a sUpERsPrEAdeR. For the democrats to come out and condemn race protests, citing monkey pox, they’d be 1.) showing ultimate hypocrisy and opportunism as a result of their 2020 stances, and 2.) pissing off their own base. They are in a uniquely bad position as a political party right now.

but it's not really that different from all of you thinking you understand Bay Area politics because of shit Gehenna says and what you see on TV

this thread is making me think a lot about what it was like in the bay area in the late 90s and early oughts when there was *so much money* sloshing around. I was in (redacted professional school) which is where a lot of the current administration people come out of. I was there because of personal issues that made me scared to not be school and go work. Nearly everyone who wasn't working for a tech firm at that time has a similar reason or a worse one. Anyone who is in government who comes from the SF political machine is a very damaged and not very bright person because otherwise they would be a millionaire chilling.
Why are Bay Area conservatives and California conservatives in general such giant cuckolds and pussies?

Proximity to heavy left leaning politics turns right leaners into knowing accomplices or friends. In a sense, who you make friends with rubs off on you, and conservatives in California are more likely to "compromise" with the left to live among them, same thing with Washington conservatives. It's also what's led the right wing in general to be so passive to obvious evidence of left wing treason and worse. It's like when people used to argue the majority of the left wing were just like the rest of America "only trying to make it better."

nah it's more complicated than that

WA isn't like CA at all. The fundamental basic most important fact about CA is that way way way way way way too many people live there. There is a tiny strip of inhabitable land with way way way way way way too many people crammed into it. This is much more important than what anybody's politics are. People in CA are fucking insane and in complete denial about physical reality and their future. This would be true *even if there weren't also earthquakes.* *but there are also earthquakes.*

To be fair I know a few conservatives from CA. Although they do have some obvious right wing beliefs, they also have some weird progressive hybrid tolerance beliefs as well. I'll agree WA is more corruption than the phenomenon I'm explaining but then again coming from another democrat state I see the same observable effect on republicans within this state, and knowing a few from MI I see the sameobservation between republicans and right wingers from NY, NJ, MI, IL, CA and more.

what bay area conservatives
The OGs were libertarian/conservatives types, but they are dwarfed by the massive amount of H-1Bs that have been imported to Silicon Valley over the last 20 years.

Yet, the Californians never bring up the easiest solution to fixing their housing crisis: deporting illegal immigrants and increasing the requirements for H-1Bs to only let in people who are actually highly-skilled. There's a whole line on the Supply/Demand graph that is never talked about.

You either become extremely right wing due to first hand exposure to all their terrible ideas and degeneracy, or you become weak and compromise to keep the peace.
A lot of the deep red states have more RINO politicians than the light red states because the population will always vote for a Republican, so a leftist can easily infiltrate. This doesn't work in reverse because the Democrats are constantly putting their people through struggle sessions.

Also, keep in mind that Washington and Oregon are overt with their election fraud (both exclusively use mail in ballots), and while California still has physical polls, their elections are also very suspicious. The fraud has a very strong demoralizing effect.

Secrete Service
Best misspelling I’ve seen in at least a decade.

"Fuck it, let's kill everyone on this planet and then move to Mars so we can procreate there and live the society we actually want to with people that will obey us"
And then that retarded concept will fail, thanks to the natural law that demonstrates that wherever a species exists, conflict is inevitable.

This is fanciful bullshit. What powers the chip? How do they plan on getting a signal through the squishy meatbag that happens to be a great absorber of the frequencies necessary to transmit that signal more than a few inches? How do they intend to get an antenna large enough to transmit at a useful frequency into a tiny little pill? Fucking idiots, the lot of them.

This is a fantasy investment pitch to a bunch of technically illiterate boomers. Pfizer won't ever make this shit, they just want money to "develop" it.

There are passive chips that are powered externally via radio waves. An example of this tech is NFC tags. The pill chip is likely something like that.

Those passive chips require close proximity to work, and would have to be close to the body's surface to be able to reliably transmit because, again, our bodies readily absorb all the useful frequencies for these sorts of devices. The passive part means that a transceiver would have to be close by, either worn on the body or held by someone monitoring you. The former places strict limits on the application of the technology, while the latter obviates it entirely as you can be observed swallowing the pill anyway.

Maybe they'll use the same batteries that they stuck in the GPS tracked machine guns they were selling to Mexican drug cartels.

I'm pretty sure the body acts as an antenna. 60 Symbols youtube page did a video about how the water content of the human body can amplify radio signals.

They could probably have it interact with your phone or other smart devices to send the long distance message that you're a good boy that takes his pills.
