I still can't figure out how she qualified, how it happened so quickly and how she got an apartment so fast. Section 8 is notorious for years-long waiting lists.
My best guess is her parents applied awhile ago but only told her when they were more sure it'd go through.

Might coincide with not telling her the actual reason i.e. that she's a bona fide FAS spud.
"All bodies are good bodies" already makes me roll my eyes but "all brains are good brains" is a brand new level of exceptionalism.
Lissencephaly isn't disabling they're just like everyone else reeeee.

*lissencephaly is actual smooth brain cause the folds don't form. All but the most minor of cases are severely disabling.

Having marked uni shit for the liberal arts, I can personally attest that anyone with brain folds can pass and get a degree. Also she failed biology.

Staph isn't a fag anyway.

No tweets about her supposed assessment besides her being tired and not spamming her 'business'.

i don't get why she's playing this off as a 'teehee oopsie!😅' she's blaming the field, but it's not the field that's the problem. she went into social work, by the very definition you have to be social and you will be working with some really troubled individuals. did it ever occur to you, yarrow, sometime during those 4 years to get that useless piece of paper, that maybe being a social worker isn't the best idea for a hikikomori self-DXed sperg that has panic attacks and chugs sanitizer if anyone so much as looks at you wrong?
that's not to say that someone who's neurodivergent/mentally ill can't be a social worker. i know autistic social workers, they had to work extra hard to get to where they are, and are extremely passionate about their field and love their clients. yarrow has never worked hard in her life and as much as she likes to larp that she's a passionate warrior of justice and a savior of the unfirm and unfit, she's one of the most self-centered and judgemental people i have ever witnessed.

She's too retarded to realize she's coming off as haughty. She was probably trying for humble and needy.

Ultimately she just looks like what she is...a sped.
It makes me think of how a Keeping Up Appearances reboot might work, with Mx. Yarrow Bucket "it's 'Bouquet'" adding hamfisted attempts at trans advocacy and media influencing to her inept social climbing.

There used to be a thing on Tumblr about how angles like that can make female faces look more masculine because it emphasizes the jaw. It didn’t say that it doesn’t work on moon faces.
I don't think she understands how to pose for a photo at all. I think this is her version of the "boomer accidentally taking a selfie with the front-facing camera" face, she just...does that face in every photo, every context.
Sexy? Cool? Begging? Whatever? Same neutral expression, head tilted back a little.

Someone should offer to pay her 5 bucks to actually smile in a photo, head tilted down, teeth showing. Like a normal human. See if she's even capable.

This is good advice, for a normal human. Give Staph those directions verbatim and you're getting a photo of the Kubrick Stare.

Buddy... A masters is eight years.

why would you expect me to know this you fucking ableist? my autism and poverty made it impossible for me to go to college. besides the MAGA chuds in my town that exist only to literally kill me would shoot me on sight the second i stepped on to campus wearing my "The Queer Is Strong With This One" shirt and athyrself pins. i bet you're an antivaxxer too. consider yourself reported and blocked and i'll spread the word so my etsy customers block you too. 🖕

(my point still stands though, how did it take her 8 or however many fucking years it took to get that degree to figure out that she might not be cut out for that.)

Postgraduate degrees are a pit of thorns.

There are 10-month MSW programs (for people with a bachelor's already) and two-year programs for people with a random bachelor's, and probably a lot more options in that continuum.

Not going to argue that a night school MSW (or MSN, for that matter) is the same experience as writing and defending a thesis in Medieval Studies or doing whatever rigorous thing engineers do, but that's the price of the ticket for social work.

Completing even a fast/certification-focused master's degree seems like it should disqualify you for sped bucks, unless you got a TBI after you graduated, but they didn't ask my permission.

It is frustrating that social worker would be unironically useful for a lot of social justice organizations. If Staph could use her credentials, she'd be an asset to a homeless outreach NGO, or one of the ones that supports people with mental illness to remain in the community with light supervision.

There's a huge need for social workers, especially unicorns like Staph who don't need to work and wouldn't mind being paid peanuts. Every time she brags about her imaginary gay/trans/intersex agency, it's a slap in the face of programs actually helping disadvantaged alphabet people with poor funding and skeleton staff.

She'd be an awful coworker, but if she could function at the same level she passed her clinical experience, it'd be a net gain.

I don't understand what diploma mill she went to that let THAT graduate. WITH A MASTERS.

Do social programs ever hire people just to handle paperwork, do transcription, make necessary duplicates, stuff like that? Do they have notaries? Apologies if you're not in a position to know
