It's okay that I look like a complete utter fool because I got 12k views on a video and i'll get 5 bucks from it.

Always good when he exposes himself(!) to people outside the vortex.

All of my testing indicates that ads don't show up for clips on YouTube, which should mean that all these extra views are effectively worthless to him. I tried opening through the official YouTube app, incognito window, etc. and couldn't personally get one to appear. Not sure if anyone else was able to see anything.

You can also conveniently compare the amount of traffic that came through the clip specifically (23,902 views) against the entire video (25,200 views) meaning that his "organic" view count is about 1,300 (this was over 800 when I first posted it a day ago.)

Basically, I don't think he really even got any extra ad revenue from this lol

Ever heard of the Chinese curse that goes "May you get what you wished for" because Phil completely proved its validity in the past few days. He finally got his gifted memberships, got a 100+ totally organic growth of them on the first day, then the next day he had a disaster prestream, the day after we got another disaster prestream. Now he's lashing out at Plebbit, getting told to fuck off and now he's coping, seething, dilating and trying to turn it into some kind of win. Remember he is a changed machoor adult with a wife, son and business degree and he isn't an angry kid anymore but his rant on the Daily Crap can be summarized as thus:

It's been two days since he got what he wished for and he's already completely losing his mind

I've said multiple times that he shouldn't want to get bigger. He's only as "successful" he is because of his obscurity, not in spite of it. The more eyes on Phil, the easier it is for people to realise how scummy he really is. Then again he's in denial of how bad he is at literally everything he ever does.

Despite the autism that happens here, it's a fun little reminder how much of a fuckin' joke this guy is to the circles of livestreamers. He pokes his head out for a minute and gets lit up like that from the reddit LSF and Halo community of all people.

Stay in your safe space hole, Phil. Must have sucked not being able to ban ban ban anyone.

Don't forget ragequiting Kirby of all fucking things. He's a joke to everyone, including his own wheelchairs.

At first I was a little iffy on the LSF post but it turned out alright . Just for the future of anyone makin DSP posts to normies, do not do any lore dumps. Most of the time he's just THE GUY to them but you can't go blasting them with walls of lore about everything and expect them to not think somethings wrong with you.

If I might also make a suggestion to those thinking about introducing DSP to the uninitiated:

Being a living meme, most people have probably already heard of the memes DSP is known for and of his general gouty nature. So you will only bore people by mentioning any of his past deeds. What I think seems most shocking to the most people in the shortest, most clip-able way, is how badly he treats his fans and viewers. These are also the type of clips that seem to gain the most traction; both against DSP and other streamers.

It's not just his greed but when his greed and contempt for his audience intersect that will draw the normies' attention.

I turned off any browser script that might effect Youtube and watched the clip and then around ~10 minutes of the full VOD from the clip link and got nothing. The entire URL gets changed when it's clipped so even if you start watching the whole video the url of the page is still youtube.com/clip/. If I go to Dave's actual Youtube profile and watch the VOD from there I got one of those transparent banner ads that sit in the middle bottom of the video.

I haven't browsed the internet without adblock in many years so I'm not really sure how youtube ads work but it looks like anyone watching the video through the clip link won't get any. So big ups to Dave getting paid in exposure I guess.

When this game released I wanted DSP to play it so badly ngl. The literal PURPOSE of his playthroughs is to be an UNEDITED AND A FULL GAME EXPERIENCE, but you realize how much of that purpose is defeated when he only plays ONE gamemode.

Like from my POV I just wanted to see what the GM Mode was like and wanted to see how his dumbass would navigate it (while also seeing if I would like it or not.) I literally haven't gotten that yet and I don't think I will. Hope he drops this game, cause blocked or not it's fucking useless.
