Poe's Maeux MGS3 stream is starting now

It's always a pleasure when someone new experiences the MGS saga. I can only recommend the Peko Mains channel with long high quality highlight subs of Pekoras playthroughs (MGS 1 - 3 so far). I hope one day we get a translation of Pekora's MGS 4 finale. I only have the part of the Screaming Mantis fight until the end in my library.

Chamomile played Daggerfall of all things. Interesting game to get a game developers perspective on. Haven't watched all of it. Sadly I doubt she has the background knowledge about all the crazy stuff that went into that game and just how ahead of its time it was.

Got a little question for the group, please disregard if it doesn't interest you.

So I came upon Ina's famous "Kabedon't" clip earlier and I thought this clip is a pretty good introduction to Ina. It gives you a fair feel for her sense of humor, her banter with chat, and the overall vibe of her streams. I contrasted it with clickbaity/cherry-picked clips that maybe give a misleading impression of the streamer.

So here's my question. Do you know of any clips that you feel are a really good representation of the streamer? Maybe one that could serve as a good introduction to the streamer for those not familiar with them? I'm particularly interested in Nijisanji and Holostars since I'm least familiar with them, but Hololive clips are also welcome.
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I am a fan of Morphoduction's "Experience" videos, which are basically 10 to 25 minute long compilations of clips, set to music, arranged with care. I think that if a viewer has an interest or curiosity about the featured vtuber, these sort of videos are really convenient.

I was not very familiar with Ayame for example (I was turned off by the demon stuff) so i had never looked for translated clips of her content. When i saw morphoduction made a video focused on her, showcasing what i assume are some of the fans' favorite moments, seeing how she was like in different situations gave me a much better understanding of why she is appealing to her fans. (spoiler: she's a major sweetheart)

As a fan of Subaru, Moona, Ollie, and others, some of the videos he made really tug at the emotions, especially near the end. IMO he's a really talented guy if for nothing other than his sensitivity of what flows well together. Some of the videos are better than others imo, but overall I really like the series.

I like the format, and wish there were more.

Here's a playlist with all of them so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dncDmICP-Jo&list=PL4l0yblSkk4G3jI1iqGILaxu7dn-FF8l5

But wait! There is at least a little more!

Rickchama has a playlist of his "Abridged" series, which is very similar! So far only five vids but they're good!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzKtrqLdVTs&list=PLhrT28XkzyGbqX71I8j6kaMs9tpx2hb6B

And there's also Gaki B.'s "Collection" series, which doesn't have the music and stuff added iirc but they are good compilations of clips of individual vtubers that would serve the same purpose.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxLvAVunMdk&list=PLx44CHhtEGdhvpCjxzISJXwFY7KYdQP8p

I love morph's the most though. I wish they could be updated with more recent great moments, like ollie's million-sub celebration or holofes stuff, but they're still great. If there were more good clips of Pippa and someone made a similar style compilation, complete with the emotional music and based takes, tee-tee stuff with lisa and lumi etc., as a fan that would make me really happy.

Here’s what she said in video:

To tell you guys why I disappeared for half a year without saying anything. That was a dark night. I was on my way home. And I wanna get home early to eat dinner. So I chose a way that’s near my home yet a remote route. Just a very far-off alley. Then I heard someone was calling me. So I turned back and some people came to me, and said:”Your internet IP was hacked. We are police and you must come with us to take a statement.” Then they took me on a van before I doubted it. And I still had my phone then. I didn’t doubt them cause they are policemen So they pulled me in a van. And I texted my friend:” I am in a police car, so I will record your birthday blessings when I am home.”. Then uhh. That’s the last thing I said. And it happened so abruptly that I didn’t tell my family where I was going to. So shortly after I send the message. They kept a close watch on me. They even have someone in the back seat to watch me. Then they took my phone. And I was so confused. Why would they took my phone away? But there’s nothing to do. I didn’t dare to say. So after that. They drove so far to a village I don’t even know where it is. And I was sold to a mid age auntie. That auntie always ordered me about. She beats me or scolds me if I didn’t do well. And that auntie smokes. It’s ok if she just smokes. The problem is she doesn’t have an ashtray. So she just put out the cigarette on my arm. However I found that even the frequency is low. She still leaves the house sometimes. So I found a certain timing to escape. But I failed. I thought this the rest of my life. I am locked in this house forever. But I did not expect that half a year later. About the time I returned. Police rescued me. They said I looked like someone on the missing list. So yeah they rescued me. Maybe it’s the silver linings. Though I lived in that place for six months without any contacts with the world. Have some minor injuries. And I have no ideas what happened these days. I am back on streaming. I am still optimistic. It doesn’t bother me. I also seek for some medical or other assistances. So don’t worry about me. I’m always okay. Basically this video is explaining why I disappeared for half a year. And you guys worried about me. So I think I should explain that. And there comes this video. But I don’t wanna bring too many negative energy to you. At the same time I couldn’t find a way to say that , to explain why I disappeared. Ultimately I decided to tell you guys. Thank you for willing to wait for me for so long. And you must keep yourselves safe. Never be foolish as I am. I found that I’m kinda stupid after this incident. It’s ok it’s ok it’s ok (for she came back safely)

Maybe this is Miko's announcement?

The fuck does it even mean? Is it being an announcer at a baseball game?
Maybe she's appearing on Heikousen Scramble, the radio thing Suisei would do with Tadokoro Azusa on Sundays (her name is tagged after Suisei's). I was wondering if that was running while Suisei is on break. I think "pinch-hitter" is just referring to Miko replacing Suisei.

They have done it before. Replacing Suisei with Fubuki and Nene.

Yes, they are very costly. Its also a very tedious process. Corpo vtubing don't have the luxury to wait 10 months on a model. Its already a lengthy process getting one general.
Pretty much this, and someone in the industry (corp wise) stated they have to also have a consistent quality/style across every generation ontop of it. This is why part of the hate IRyS got was because her style clashes SO much from the typical Vtubing style, that's something they want to avoid. Otherwise Iron Vertex does corp rigging, they even cancel indie waitlists when Hololive etc commissions them. (A lot of people were upset over their cancellations/push backs because of Risu's update, as much as she needed it.)

The focus on consistency can definitely be seen with Niji especially, based on them having an in-house rigging studio, rather than hiring them out. Nobody's rigs are especially top notch, but you also don't get shitshows like that one Gura outfit (at least I think that's who had it). Whichever way of doing it's better is up for preference.
