What are the chances that all of this is being intentionally done, to make it so that if a Republican president gets into power, the damage would be too much for them to fix? It reminds of how Hugo Chavez bit the dust from cancer in 2013, only for his successor Nicolas Maduro inherited a Venezuela that would go to complete shit.

And would this whole mess up reach Sri Lanka levels of bad, where the US starts defaulting on loan payments altogether?

They can't for a couple of reasons:

1. The long discussed and speculated "something bad is going to happen in 2030 unless the US give the SJW horde everything they want, just trust us!" shit, where Trump cost them four years already and losing 2024 would irrevocably fuck whatever the hell they are scheming for that year.

2. The Democrats have been doubling and tripling and quadrupling down since Gamergate because they overreached after Obama got re-elected and ANY backing down would mean ceding gains of the last couple of decades, which was confirmed with the fact that the Supreme Court is about to nuke Roe Vs Wade.

3. The Democrats did a LOT of nasty shit against Trump and his friends/allies and there WILL be retribution; a reckoning if you will. And they need to stop it from happening.

Ah, so Keystone wasn't only Biden's attempt at fucking up the oil supply in the country? Interesting. His admin has been quite the busy bee in the background then.
Yeah, here's a fucking short-and-to-the-point list:

1. Killed the Keystone Pipeline
2. Re-entered the Paris Accord that Trump fucked off from
3. Halted leasing programs in ANWAR
4. Implemented a fucking two month hold on any oil and gas leases on federal lands
5. Imposed new regulations, massively increasing the cost of drilling and how much risk companies took on for doing so

It just keeps fucking going.

Georgia is about to explode.

If Kemp gets nominated, which is likely going to happen on Tuesday, he may get killed in the general election. Any Georgians better start praying for a runoff in the Governor's race, or prepare for Gappy's rise.
I'd have a little more faith than that. Trump already put his endorsement to David Perdue and has reiterated how much Kemp is a RINO chump who failed Georgia for refusing to address the fraud in the 2020 election. We already know that endorsements by the Orange Man hold a lot of weight to public voters, especially Republican ones. There is a good likelihood Perdue will come out on top with enough of a margin to outnumber any mail-in ballots that mysteriously go to Kemp. And if Perdue wins, Abrams is far more outmatched than against Kemp.

When I read Watchmen, one of the things that stood out to me was how much more human Rorschach felt compared to everyone else.
I know it ain't the thread for this talk, but it's intentional that Rorschach is so essentially human. He represents the full force of human will to affect the things around him. He is very direct and open and truthful, and he makes the people he interacts with better through his example. But all of that is wiped out in an instant by Ozzy. Because Rorscharch was a human trying to cut a path in a world with superhuman forces. That's the lesson of Rorschach. The forces of government and technology and corporate power can and will wipe away all human striving and achievement, almost incidentally. Look upon my works etc. The age of man is past.

2. Re-entered the Paris Accord that Trump fucked off from

The important thing is the message all of this sends, which is "Don't invest in this. We will pull the rug out from under you whenever we feel like it." The gas industry is like a beat dog at this point, just shaking and paralyzed from getting beat for no reason.

Of course, this is all alleviated when a rational administration engages in appropriate actions to fix the issue instead of grandstanding. Personally, I recommend double checking and rotating your pantries guys, because when fuel runs scarce, food runs scarce, simple as.
+1 It never hurts to have a pantry to weather a shortage for whatever reason.
Heck, if things go real bad, buy 500pounds of rice and get some oxygen-absorbers from ebay.
Pour the rice into airtight plastic containers, big coke bottles work fine for this and drop in a oxygen-absorber pellet or two.
This way you can store rice for 30 years.

500 pounds of rice will last you a long time. The worst thing that could happen is that there is never a shortage and you just have to eat a lot of rice over the next several years.

The only option the Administration really has at this point to limit the actual damage of the fuel crisis is rationing programs - they don't need to start right now, but they at least need to start moving to put the infrastructure in place at the state levels, if not federally. But this would be a suicide pill for the admin, guaranteeing a blowout in the midterms.
Dear god, no. Rationing only makes things worse. Every single time.
What happens is that a parallell grey market will develop for people that want/need the extra diesel and are willing to pay for it.
This creates an arbitrage between the two markets and you will end up with a lot of new actors, actors that do not actually need or use the diesel but who will buy the maximum ration limit everytime they can and re-sell it immediately on the grey market, for profit.

This will eventually shift a large amount of the supply away from the normal market and onto the grey market and its markup. The result is that there is MORE demand at the pump and less availability at the normal pump.
Rationing makes the average price go up and the shortage more severe.

I can't wait for Biden to go to Venezuela, and beg the Churro, on his knees, for fuel. And I don't remember if Venezuela still even has the capability to refine oil at this point. They also already started easing off some of the sanctions there.
I've stopped paying attention to Venezuela 2 years ago, but the last time I remember them playing with the Citgo refinery without the gringos, shit started blowing up. Even if we started import Venezuelan oil tomorrow, I doubt the Gulf refineries are still setup to run the shitty feedstock that is Churro crude.
What I don't understand now is why now? How did diesel supply remain stable during the entire COVID idiocy, and only start choking when the mandates eased off? Is it really because of the ban on Russian oil? I thought the US wasn't importing any.
Geography. East coast terminals are shipping diesel to Europe for obvious reasons. The US has been a net exporter of diesel for a long time. Normally its Gulf refineries shipping to South America.
Seems like a delayed effect of shutting down the Keystone pipeline. Oil companies became more hesitant to build refineries. There was enough to go around for those few years, but since the strategic oil supply has been tapped with no idea how to refill it, the psychology of scarcity kicked in. Also, @Jaimas ninja'd me. Eh, I'll leave up my answer anyways.
Oil companies have been hesitant to build refineries for 20 years. A whiff of hostility at the state or even county level and the project is dead.

Kemp barely won last time and there could have been fuckery in that to a small degree. Georgia GOP strike me as loons though.

Remember that any acid can be used to generate some amount of electricity, and that we have used low-frequency radio to communicate with submarines halfway across the world.
Ok. You going to convince someone two swallow the half mile of antenna necessary to transmit that vlf signal?

Microchips are not magical do-anything devices.

1. It'll solve illegal immigration. Juan, Carlos, and Jesus ain't going to sacrifice their lives for woke politics; Latino just wants to get paid. Cartel members, likewise, only care about the drug trade, so the territory they defend is neutral to a state.
2. The West Coast via China can be supplied in a similar way to the US supplying Ukraine for the same kind of reason; messing with a rival in a proxy war will keep the US off-balance. I guess the East Coast can be supplied by Canada, but they have the same kind of Eco-Green government the Left has, so I doubt they'll do as well as the West.
3. Glowniggers only think they're tough because they kill women and children. As we see in the Ukraine War, former Special Ops aren't much better than cannon fodder and having to train up Generation Nintendo into real soldiers is going to have severely demoralized armies.
4. Total War on Red States creates famine on this side of the Western side of the world. At this point, I would believe it if the Feds decided to bomb Red States into oblivion. However, much like how Russia has resorted to artillery strikes to maintain their limited troop numbers, the Feds' air power would also have limited effectiveness at breaking Red States' resolve.

Well it's important to note that Russia has local allies, the DPR and LPR, on the ground that are helping them actively and passively with fighting in those areas and know the area well.

The feds don't have does kind of allies since almost everyone hates them. Amd their nigger pets are not willing to take a bullet for some woke white liberal cunt.

I think the Venezuelan government still remembers when, a few years back, the US were confiscating their outside-of-country assets and tankers in the gulf of mexico.
They know that any request from Biden to help solve the diesel shortage will be short-lived and within months it will go back to the US embargoing their regime.
Whether their regime is just or not matters little. Even an unjust regime strives for survival and co-operating with the US to solve a US domestic problem is contrary to their own goals.

Is it only the East Coast that's being affected, though? Or is it all over the US? All of the warnings have been for the former.
It'll be just one region initially, and very rapidly everywhere else. Remember, they need Diesel to get Diesel to the states -- for the last mile, at the very least. To get the East Coast back up and running they'll have to use Diesel, which they don't have, and trucks from Central and the West Coast, which are all engaged supplying their own region. Also, remember that thanks to other Biden and Leftist policies, we have a critical truck shortage, including some magic "make the ecofascists cum" chip for emissions levels that can't currently be replaced and requires supplies of urea... from Russia.

If the East Diesel thing is real, shit is going to get real bad real quick. Beyond 1970s bad.

"Washington is already running out of gas and prepping for $10+ a gallon" bad. Note that this is Washington STATE, not DC. I.e., this isn't even in the affected area.

And this isn't even mentioning that those trucks are what bring FOOD to everyone. What do you think's going to happen if the food deliveries stop or slow to a crawl in the big cities? Think the left's pets will maintain their well earned reputation for being calmed, collected, and beyond everything else, peaceful, in the ensuing chaos? Or will they start burning shit down, stealing (and destroying) what limited resources are left, and then trying to spread out from the cities into the suburbs to raid houses when no amount of chimpout makes mastah give them free gibs?

I thought the Midterms were going to be a bloodbath, but I didn't think it'd be literally one.

So, @BONE_Buddy ... how long 'til you find target orders in the CONUS on your kneeboard, do you reckon?
Fuck me running. That's a hell of a question.

I can't even really manage a joke answer outside of some SAC line: "See that ground down there? Fuck it."

To answer seriously, I only see acceleration after the mid-terms. No group with significant power is going to kick shit over in the mid-terms. We might see a lot more of Governors reclaiming State Sovereignty, but they will still profess loyalty to the USA.

The first real inflection point will be the next presidential election. A lot can happen in three years, and depending on the organizational level of the dispossessed, we might see the rubicon crossed. I see it as a low probability. Somewhere in the ballpark of 20%, but that should scare the shit out of anybody paying attention. It takes a lot to cause a civil war.

If things keep developing at the pace it is now. We have a decade+ before there is enough secessionists or revolutionaries in places of power to really shake things up. Because there are really two political revolutions which have to be completed for that to happen.

You have to kick out the NeoCons and their swamp buddies and replace them with populist/liberty GOPers. This revolution is half finished, and is continuing at speed at the State and Local levels. Getting the GOP away from the Dems has to happen before anything else.

Then you have to convert or replace the Nationalists with Secessionists. Inevitably this will have to happen at the State level. To put it bluntly, we are pretty far away from this. Texas is about the most succession meme'd State in the Union, and we don't have more than a handful of elected leaders here who are calling for actually leaving yet. Give it another 3 years and we will see where we are at.

If Texas isn't willing to lead on the issue, you don't have many other States with that sort of pedigree or strength to do it. I like King DeSantis Florida, but they aren't close to breaking away either. South Carolina, whom kicked off the last big show, is the land of the RINOs. Missouri is dear to me, but they have yet to show me that they are willing to actually nullify Federal law.

Point of fact, we will be hard pressed to have a complete populist/liberty Republican takeover of the State level GOP by 2024.

This is all to say that we are a long, long, ways away from a Civil War. If the schema patterns onto a Revolutionary War, double the time at least.

To answer your question @thx1138 the BONE and the BONE's Buddy is liable to have been "retired" by the time the CONUS strike orders get sent.

Remember one little thing.

It's never what people predict that starts shit being crazy.

I know a lot of glowie and historians claim they foresaw the Fall of the Wall and the collapse of the USSR, but every one of them is lying. All it took was a seemingly random event to cause the events to take place.

Things are prepped. Not Civil War prepped, but major shakeup.

The fall of the DNC would be a major history book shakeup.

I know everyone thinks King Hillary is going to take over for Biden in 2024, but I don't think so. Does she really want to inherit Sleep Joe's mess, since the Administration and the Swamp Ghouls will all be the incompetents who caused it and they don't have any ACTUALLY competent people? She owes too much to progressive causes to pull a Reagan or FDR.

So without Hillary, who do they really have?

The debts are coming due. Biden is crashing the economy with no fucking survivors. The population is pissed and even the true believers that could have acted as independent operators are having second thoughts.

Even their paid shills are weak and boring.

So who do they have?

Can they survive what happens at mid-terms, which is either perceived massive fraud or total wipeout?

haven't been following because its summertime yall!

i just want to let people know of another reason Biden's been so extreme on getting immigrants in our nation, besides the usual "replace the whites" stuff. the CDC won't let it be released yet, but more people died than were born in the US in 2021 by a country mile. Because a population decline would truely fuck things up for this country Biden is going to replace the million that straight up doesn't exist in this country right now with illegals. something like 25% of population growth in 2021 will be because of illegals crossing the border.

it was clear to everybody in the mid 80s that the eastern block was crumbling.
the fall of the wall started in 1986 with a giant explosion. poland was broke the year after and protest started, ending in the free elections in poland.
the Soviets couldnt or wouldnt react to the polish protests so hungary started to open up the fences. the wall was useles in 1989 and east germany was begging west germany for another loan. the wall of the wall is a symbol, but it was the last domino to fall in central europe.

it was clear to everybody in the mid 80s that the eastern block was crumbling.
Maybe to some gentlemen in Germany, the Eastern Block, and some other portions of Europe. But to the fuckers who wrote and implemented policy and those in the media, the Soviet Union was assuredly going to outproduce and outlast us.

The same blind and damned fuckers who couldn't fathom that the USSR and friends were falling apart, are the same people in charge of things today. They just don't believe in consequences now, since we are past the "End of History."
