As someone who has kept a close eye on Make America Again, the reasons for the changes are this I think:

Kemalist Wisconsin if I remember right was the brainchild of a Turkish dev who got banned for saying stuff about Armenian genocide denial or at the very least they did a lot of dumb things that got people to dislike them to a degree they were kicked off the team. Some I imagine probably thought it was disrespectful to Sam Brown who was injured in Afghanistan. Changing something on the basis of it "making fun" of someone could be a slippery slope all things considered because besides the situation with the Brown, this is a mod where a real life commander of Area 51 can transform the site into Hyperborea and the Native Americans of the Southwest US get typically destroyed by the Atomwaffen, all the while you can see Osama bin Laden lead a country in Cuba and John McAfee lead "Ancapistan".

I was honestly more peeved by the Fire Legion removal and think its a start of a slippery slope. Kemalist Wisconsin meant barely anything to me.

Changes are coming most likely because the old lead dev stepped down due to pressure from the dev team. Apparently the others didn't like the fact as a foreigner he made little attempt to understand American politics, didn't communicate with other devs much, and among other things would set release dates for the mod without consulting the other members of the team.

Thank you for your warm feedback, didn't expect to see myself here. Unfortunately hoi4 community has a right-wing issue and they harassed me just because I did a portrait of a black man.
I saw a lot of modders here so I want to ask for advice. I want to make a mod but I fear that I could be censored by conservative pdx staff. Can someone give me insight into pdx workshop policy and why they are banning certain mods?

Because as much as they may deny it, these mods are basically an outlet for their spergy political fantasies. It's not really about making a fun/interesting mod, it's about fulfilling their autistic "revolutionary" desires that they'll never accomplish in real life. They don't want anyone compromising their "perfect world" where their wholesome big chungus ideology epicly pwns the fascists/liberals/communists/republicans/democrats/bulliesatschoolists etc.

There already is a Fuentes path in MAA. I don't know how much is that route dick sucking Fuentes or actually makes fun of him. I'll give a Kiwi 500 Reddit gold if they manage to try it out and give a report on it since my PC is still busted.

Apparently he can takeover Florida and have a monarchy with Barron Trump as the figurehead King while he does the real ruling and can take up to the 13 Colonies as a inutial territorial goal and can maybe reunite the entire USA under his 'First American Empire'.

And it's almost exclusively posted online by people who would be put against a firing squad by 99% of the men who fought for the Union.
Similar to antifa people who appropriate US WWII veterans because they fought the fascists although they themselves would be branded extremist neo nazis for their "radical" social beliefs.
These "people" are incapable of looking at history outside of the current socio-political zeitgeist while grouping people in Marvel movie tier good guys and bad goys.
