Philburt is the best and most likeable of the big 3. That's why he's the most successful out of all of them.
Wings is ok but he is very fat and he abuses his audience even more than Phil does.
At this point the people who dislike Phil do so because it's popular, just like he's said previously. I would be shocked if there was even in the double digit of detractors who were legitimate former DSP fans in the current day.
I was never a fan of DSP, I just liked TIHYDPs and other detractor content. I'm not afraid to admit it. (well I guess I'm a fan now, even if in a very non-standard way)

No. I am pretty sure he's not popular nor is it "popular to hate". Most people (certainly applies to me) dislike Phil because of one or more of the following:
●shitting on games because he's bad at playing them
●shitting on game developers because he's bad at video games
●viciously insulting people who criticise him and his videos/streams
●taking advantage of the mentally challenged, kids and mentally challenged kids / attention whores in order to rake in ~ 10K $ per month
●begging like there's no tomorrow and abusing yt systems because he needs to pay for his gin addiction, but more importantly his gacha addiction
●constantly lying and claiming bills or other ridiculous fictitious expenses
●lying in his bankruptcy call and claiming several gaming consoles and gaming expenses and microtransactions as "business related" despite never using them for "da buziness"
●taking advantage of a young PandaLee (even if she was over 18, she was still a dumb kid) and making her life a mess
●throwing PandaLee under the bus years later in one of his "reaction videos"
●mistreating his best friend ever who was there for him, John, as well as other people whom he basically forced to work for free while he hoarded all the money
●throwing said friends under the bus and still making money off of them years later in his upcoming "reaction video"
●using hateful slurs

If you buy the DSP explanation that we're all just groupthinking our way into this, you're a retard. This place has an insanely diverse userbase. Liberals, conservatives, socialists, libertarians, progressives, nationalists, religious, non-religious, oldfags, newfags, married, unmarried, parents, the childless, former DSP fans, neverfans, breeders and homos, all races, gamers, casualfags, non-gamers, many nationalities, non-English speakers... the list goes on!
This is not a group that you could build merely by brainwashing us into hating DSP because muh trend. We disagree about way too much other stuff. DSP is a scumbag with over a decade of accumulated idiocy, scamming, begging and toxicity. Unlike DSP's support base and stream growth, this "community" came about as organically as it gets.

My dislike of him is purely because i actually subbed to him after i was introduced to him via a youtuber called the archfiend who was on a anti tobuscus crusade and mentioned toby's ads playing on phils videos.
He showed DSP's response briefly and that was my first impression of him and at the time he came across as somewhat normal to me. So i subbed to him and was promptly flooded by a billion notifications of his uploads. I give DSP credit when it's due and there are times i find myself chuckling at a joke or comment he makes and i'll play devils advocate for him at times.
Don't presume my dislike for him as something i do just to be in with the cool kids. My dislike is because he's simply a twat.
