I really do wonder how some vtubers feel about their communities, especially Gura. She's supposedly short and flat irl, and I'm not saying she shouldn't have romantic partners because of that, there is nothing wrong with it if a girl you like happens to like looks that way. But when her avatar lures in a certain kind of audience and she supposedly looks like her avatar I do wonder if she finds her fans even more creepy or if it gives her an ego boost. Kinda like how Calli with her supposedly huge tits immediately sought a model with her huge tits covered up.

If you want to know true horror, you should hear Pippa's child voice. I forget which stream(s) she demonstrated it in, but I wanted to quarantine my headphones for playing that. If Pippa pandered to that audience, I would not be watching. I am very glad Pippa does not use that voice, otherwise I would question if her character should be taken behind the shed with a rifle and taken care of.

As for that Gura art, cursed, keep it away from me. People who do that over her character are weird. I've always been inclined to just say no to looking at vtubers in that way. I don't care for things like ASMR for a reason. Occasionally when one is chatting about their day, or what they like to do, etc., I may find myself thinking it would be fun to befriend and go on a date with whoever's on the other side, but that's getting parasocial, any further is getting really delusional, halu, GWS territory. Get some fresh air and meet a real person.

As for Gura as a person, fine, some people don't grow, I hope she'll find another adult (not me) in her future that likes her for who she is and sees her as an adult, because she is one. Someone will see her behind her squeaky, small exterior for someone who cares enough about animals to volunteer until her back hurts from scooping so much poop.

I don't really care personally. I was reacting to finding out about the uohh thing for the first time earlier. I think we all get how internet culture works - something gets spread around because it's uniquely gross and offensive, then it becomes a running joke and people bring it up for lolz. It's called "shitposting" for a reason, and Gura's always been a shitposter. She was joking about putting figures in jars recently, same thing.

I get why this is a filter for some people, since it does attract some actual creeps, but I personally never pay attention to Gura's fan community so it doesn't really affect how much I enjoy her stuff.

IRyS going to be in "recording hell" (her words) starting second week of June. Guessing it will be for songs for her 1st anniversary.

Listening to her, Cover need to be careful to not make it her only anniversary. She mentioned a lot of things seem to happen very last-minute. For example, her latest single, Until the End of Me, had its music ready since shortly after her debut, but just got lyrics for it like 2 weeks before the song came out.

She has a lot of things moving really slowly, which she is trying hard not to say is frustating her. She does have a cover coming out that she is super excited for, so that is nice.

I haven't been following this spergery closely, but from what I can see you and others seem to be coming at this thing from the idea that an actual pedophile, by which I mean a person who wishes to use an actual, in-the-flesh child for sexual gratification, is going to be "satisfied" by either "lolicon" artwork or a petite, flat-chested adult. That's just not how it works.

As a father of young children I'm not worried much about even the most coom-brained lolicon fan because at the end of the day, it's still a massive leap to take between whacking off to incredibly unrealistic and idealized drawings in your gamer chair to actually trying to sexually assault a real, crying, screaming, fighting, stinky, gross child (and facing life-ruining legal consequences for it). Those are two very different kinks. It's the difference between a guy who likes Rambo movies and Dylan Roof.

All that being said, Pippa and Gura have young-looking models but they never portray themselves as literal children, so the whole thing is pretty moot anyway.

You used to be able hide stuff in jpg files, I assume that's what he meant. It was pretty common for those crowds to put .rar archives in jpg's and distribute them over imageboards.
