When coming up as a comic you have to work at small bars where people will heckle you (unless you come from a rich background where you get a special day one). I've been to open mic nights, there are people that go to those just to heckle would-be funnymen. No Tranny will ever put themselves through that and will only become a stand-up if they're allowed to start off at actual comedy clubs where they have better security.
Even with security people can heckle them lol, to be a comedian you've gotta be able to take a joke--primarily jokes aimed at yourself

I think I’d have to disagree there. While troons are much more likely to be predisposed to insanity, we shouldn’t underestimate the chaos that actual women can cause online. Someone like Janke or Zoe Quinn is just as reprehensible as Lucas
What Keffals is probably really mad at is the reaction - based on the Tweets I saw the day after the show, almost everyone in the crowd was happy to see Chappelle as the opener and laughed at his set. This isn't a random crowd either, it's Mulaney fans, which contradicts quite a few narratives. Plenty of people there probably support trans rights *and* laughed at the jokes.
