If they can't rig it sufficiently to win -- I won't bother humoring the idea of them actually winning fairly -- Their stance in 2024 is going to be, albeit in not as many words, "It is not possible for Democrats to lose elections, therefore this election must not have been legitimate."

This was literally the stance taken by the fringe in the blogs I was in pre-GamerGate. The stance was that no one in their sane mind would ever vote Republican (disagree with Democrats), ergo, Republicans had to be doing something to cheat to win. The Dems ran token minorities, so not voting for them meant you hated minorities. The dems wanted what was best for the "flyover states", so if you voted Republican you were obviously voting against your own self interest, like some sort of retard. That sort of deal.

2012, their excuse was literally "Karl Rove redirected the Ohio servers to his private server and changed the vote count." 2010, maybe 2012?, it was "The republicans got anti-gay marriage bills on the ballot in swing states and the hateful christian bigots voted against the glorious party while they were out hatevoting against marriage equality."

It's going to be the same thing, only on a national scale, in 2024. Same as in 2020, come to think of it. The former fringe stupidity from the batshit wing of the left is now official policy, enforced by fascist collaboration between the party and the media and big tech. Only this time it'll be worse, because I absolutely cannot imagine the citizenry will allow them to do the same thing two elections in a row, and it'll be even more blatant, with even less logistical support.

I have no idea what happens if they actually do find live evidence of vote rigging in 2024, come to think of it. They'll probably suppress the fuck out of it, even more than that one fake whistleblower they wouldn't even let you type the name of on social media. Eric C-something?

Also, bonus thought: The stance in 2012, 2014, was something like: "The republicans are doing X, Y, and Z to cheat to win elections. Obviously, because they can't win elections in any other way, because there's no way anyone would ever disagree with us. Therefore, it's ok for us to do X, Y, and Z, (read: vote rigging) too, because we're not cheating to cheat, we're cheating to make it 'fair.'" Something to think about. To the radical left, they aren't cheating. Cheating means giving themselves an unfair advantage. To the radical left, it's literally impossible for them to lose fairly, ergo, cheating isn't cheating, it's leveling the playing field against the cheating that MUST be going on to cause them to lose.

Inconsistency and hypocrisy are not things Democrats have to worry about. They can play any card they want. If the Democrats claim election fraud, they will refuse to seat Republican challengers, lawsuits will drag on for months if not years, and every election will be recounted and audited until the correct result comes up. If they still can't take full control after claiming fraud, since Biden will still be in the White House, the Republican Party will be subjected to a two-year investigation by the FEC, and you'll hear regular crowing about "73 arrests" and "over two dozen convictions," all of which will be over bullshit procedural violations, as it was with the Trump-Russia investigation.
