Weirdly, the dude has a whole bunch of offensive material including his own "problematic" past material that's no different from any other "right-wing" comedian like Chappelle or Ricky Gervais. But he did this one rant at the start of a special and you'd think he was the woke comedy god who had subverted the entire history of comedy with it based on how often people who have no sense of humor post it as if it means something.

It's ladder-pulling. The people that cut their teeth doing edgy offensive humor don't want to have competition, so now they demonize offensive humor in favor of their own brand of sanitized woke messaging. That's why you'll have people who use to run around in blackface for gags suddenly deciding that you can't even joke about certain demographics: they may believe that those old jokes deserve to die, but they are primarily motivated by the idea that they should be the sole arbiters of comedy instead of those dirty edgelords.

As Tim Dillon once said, the now-woke comedians who have a checkered past of faggot and nigger tweets/jokes all say that those days are behind them and that those awful things they said were part of a journey for them to be this now enlightened Right Side of History person, whereas the people who are saying the Bad Things now are evil and must be punished by the Good People. "Russophobia" has been around for awhile. Check out the Russian reserves that were formed around the time the USSR formed, when canada and the usa didn't want them pesky communists on their land or taking their jobs. Some of them still exist.
Or all the great grand parents that had to change their names to something English sounding to prevent being attacked or denied jobs and housing. Many didn't pass on the language and the culture to their kids out of fear of them being persecuted as well.
All over the west coast of North America, there are little pockets of Russian towns that prevailed after being given the shittiest land and left to hopefully rot and die. They fight to preserve the language and culture.
Pretty classic example of hating on a country for their shitty laws and beliefs but then also hating on those who try to escape those shitty laws and beliefs. Damned if you do, damned if you don't
