Unironically, the day that trannies are able to roast their own on stage and not end up on some schizo hitlist with a mafia of baritone voiced linebackers-in-dresses stalking them constantly is probably also the day that community has purged enough of its cancer to be tolerated more generally.

I don't think we're remotely close yet though.

I'd argue that if trannys ever gained that level of self-awareness, the point would be moot because they'd likely acknowledge their mental illnesses and cease to exist.

Probably wishful thinking on my part.

The closest we ever got I THINK was Eddie Izard. And he isn’t trans just did stand up in drag. And was hilarious imo bagging on himself as much as anything. He’s the one that stands out to me. What passes for humor and stand up now doesn’t hold a candle to what I grew up on- Dave chapelle is as close as that gets.

I'm sure at this point comedy clubs would hard boot anyone heckling a tranny on the mic with the usual insults ("obviously your dad was never around to teach you how to shave!!") So one could scratch their way up.

The only thing I've seen from small trans "comedians" are either A) Self-affirming depreciation and boring, or B) Hyper male versions of basic female comedians talking about sex, "I'd be lying if I hadn't thought about skinning a cis woman and wearing her skin"

If there was a big name tranny comedian it'd probably be something along the lines of Hannah Gadsby. Which, like... gross lol

Either way, I highly doubt female comedians would care lmao
