Is there a meme reason why they picked 3 electronics companies to make the guns for this event?

Honestly, if you don't got ancestors that lived through the civil war in America then you shouldn't really care about it. I'm sick and tired of the memes and political "historians and history enthusiasts" who 100% identifies with historical people because they were considered rightwing or leftwing for their time. But I can guarantee you if they actual travel back in time and met them they would be shocked at how different they are to them and how much they would probably hate them and them hate you.

This is a perspective that should be brought up more often. As someone who's family actually was involved in the ACW(CSA militarily and economically), I don't fucking get why there's such an major desire to jerk off over dead retards you've never met and don't know as people just because they possibly were the good guy or bad goy to your views. This equally applies to any Russian commie jerking off over D-Day pictures or a 14 year old named "GroyperEdgyLolocaust" creaming their pants over WW2 German Phonk Edits even though their family is British or American. And truthfully even if you  are related to someone involved with a significant event, dont fucking make it your entire online identity still

For example Howa Machinery, which was a big small arms mfg. in WWII and still makes small arms and artillery products for the JSDF.

The secret is to make mods with nonhuman characters to get away with shit look at stellaris where genocide is dime a dozen and in fact is a legitimate late game strategy to prevent lag destroying your save

Hell look at fucking equestria at war and the casual atrocities you can commit in that mod no problem

I still laugh that the bad AI coding makes genocide necessary for lategame saves. It's the same for CKII but they camouflage it by manipulating the death rate from epidemics in minor characters/courtiers.

Exactly if you want well known names just give Mitsubishi + kawasaki a firearm subsidiary. It's althist afterall and an expansion of those 2 into firearm manufacturing makes more sense with a victorious Japan than giving fucking Fujitsu who never did anything apart from electronic this

Or Mazda which did make guns for a few years due to wartime factory requisitions. But expecting anything serious out of a mod like this is just autism on my part. They're never going to put that much work into historical accuracy when it's a big meme.

its not a main focus of the corporations, they still focus on tech- its a government contract to provide arms to fight the malay insurgency, as the guangdong gov cant help any other way. i dont think they design the guns from the ground up, but instead repurpose parts from existing weaponry to make new weapons
