This is most likely the truth, or at least pretty close to it. It’s got something to do with the beating he caught last time he was there.

Ralph, if you manage to not get your ass beat this trip, you'll have to return for ANOTHER trip to give yourself a better ratio. As it stands, it will still be a 50/50 shot you get your ass beat when you go to Portugal.
