It's not so much a bad product, it's just not as good as Thomas thinks. There's uses for it but he doesn't have a clue what it is so can't advertise it or price it correctly. He's been told on Facebook that what he buys is overpriced and sells at overpriced prices because he doesn't have the quality. Why? because Thomas doesn't have the knowledge and experience to do that and despite having money and the time to take them so he can improve his business like a smart person he instead does what Thomas does.
