As much as we mock the idea of Black Lives Matter™ existing, what really makes me mad was the way how they emphasized “STOP KILLING US!” in their early parts of existence. They tried to make it seem as if black people were getting killed every day, yet turn a blind eye to the real things that plague them (obesity, lack of employment, drugs, smoking, diabetes, real life black on black crime, dropout rates in schooling, etc.)

My mum's American and even she can drive a manual. In fact she literally taught me.

In my opinion, and of a similar nature, being proud of navigating without Google Maps/electronic assistance is really faggy. I never knew that was a thing until I met someone who beats their chest about it.

Navigation is a very good skill to have, but I agree that lording it over people or otherwise making a big deal about it is stupid.

Chinese Huawei phones are top tier. I owned a P-20 Pro for two years that beat the shit out of anything Samsung or Iphone had out at the time, for 300 dollars less new. They were also the first ones to start releasing phones with 3+ camera apertures, which everyone else promptly copied. I still regret losing that phone, I'd trade my Pixel 6 in a heartbeat if it weren't for the 5G restrictions.

Political parties are killing America. You can’t vote for something that goes against your party or you’ll seen as a traitor. You can’t vote for someone unless they’re from your party. While a lot of it is nostalgia, there were a good number of movies that came out in the 00's that I still enjoy. Lake Mungo, Lilya 4-ever, Little Miss Sunshine, ect. Then again I also somehow manage to enjoy Bride of Chucky and the Rob Zombie Halloween films, so my taste is questionable.
