Totally irrelevant: Delta Force Green Beret SOF Paratrooper James Vasquez who just returned from Ukraine announced that he and his wife are separating.
He's gonna sell his house and all the shit he owns. Then he will go back to Ukraine to fight. Can't wait to see him on the 'frontlines' again

Yet another plea to Zelensky, now from 71 jager brigade.

Soldier One: Good day, we are members of 71st jager brigade. Mister President, we are appealing to you, Vladimir Aleksandrovich, help. How can people, who voluntary came to defend their nation, fight against artillery, GRADs, mortars with only automatic rifles? No one covers anybody, nobody gives us any help, we don't have any reasonable weapons and, with that said, we are supposed to be a special military unit and not a territorial defense unit. Tell us, how we can fight for this nation that forgot about us? Please, help us deal with our problems, send us military prosecutors.
Soldier Two: Our command don't want to involve military prosecutors. We need military prosecutors, nobody give us that. Orally give us orders without any seals, force us to give away our guns if we refuse to complete them. I ask you, Vladimir Aleksandrovich, please, deal with our problems.
Soldier Three: We are given oral commands without any document confirming them. Just go into meat grinder, to become mincemeat. And what is the point of this meat grinder? We don't have any cover, no BMPs, no BTRs, no tanks, no artillery, we have nothing. We have 60s mortars, which sometimes work, sometimes don't.
Soldier One: (can't understand what is said at the beginning, sorry) We ask you to help us with this problem, because we lost any faith in nation of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to Heroes!
Svetlodarsk is under control of Russian Federation. Here is a video of Ukrainian flag being taken away from administrative building. (I believe Ukrainian MoD also acknowledge loss of Svetlodarsk)

And video of bombings somewhere on the Izyum front.

And video of (what is claimed to be) 115th brigade, they are accused of desertion. Place is claimed to be pre-trial detention center number six.

Today I learned the Soviet Union lost WWII to Germany because of the "not one step back" order by Stalin.

Stalin issued the order because at that point, the USSR was losing to the Germans, and he was desperate. The order was issued on July 28, 1942, and the USSR continued losing and retreating. In practice, the order stopped being followed in October. The USSR's fortunes turned around the next month, with Zhukov's Operation Uranus. "Not one step back" had zero contribution to defeating Germany, and mostly just got people killed.

I think this is the first POV footage from Switchblade drones made available.

The tank was only lightly damaged because it's a Switchblade 300 with a small grenade-sized payload, and it was aimed at the tank crew standing outside.

I did note it was counterproductive.

I really need to start expecting the weirdest music choices from slavs when it comes to videos of people getting killed.

Riddle me this and riddle it more
If country that claims that it's winning the war
Allows higher ups to kill soldiers on sight
That means they're still winning the war, am I right?

TL;DR ukies statute had that part about dealing with insubordinate soldiers that allowed officers to deal with them in any way "except causing soldier's death", but suddenly a senator from Zelensky's party creates amendment 7351, which is going to erase the part about "causing death" i.e. allows officers to kill their soldiers on sight. Not so long ago they tried to pass the law that would rip everyone who left the country of their citizenship, namely draftable men, if they won't come back in 30 days (current status is unknown, but I doubt it will pass, it's too retarded). A month before it was "2 weeks or you get 10 years in prison when you come back"., but it seems that it failed to pass the voting. Perfect indicators of things going well.

Personally I think that's why Russian soldiers are giving any Ukrainian patrol they encounter the chance to surrender, they know morale is at the dirt worst and Ukrainians have no backup and if they even think of withdrawing they'll get executed for 'treason' so might as well just walk out with their hands up so they can spend the rest of the conflict in a Russian camp.

It's so obvious right now that Ukraine has burned through the majority of their hardest soldiers and while they might have loads of conscripts with fire in their bellies and wanting to kill every Ruski they encounter... if they're surrounded they're probably not wanting to actually DIE for it.

I found this video on the fediverse and found it interesting, whilst not direct war footage its a reaction to the western world "concern" about ukraine
This video really struck a note with me,

I hate to be a pessimist and I believe I've said it before but it's clear to me that people don't know or care about Ukraine or its people. Or even this conflict at large.

It all feels so disingenuous and hypocritical, especially with how adamant the government and the media are with making martyrs out of Ukraine as a whole, accepting refugees with open arms, giving people money to house them, and cuddling them through integration - while shunning refugees from every other region or never questioning why things have become the way they are.

I did note it was counterproductive.

Your entire point was backward:

OP: Shooting your own troops to stop them from surrendering isn't what you do when you're winning.
You: Oh yeah, what about Stalin's Order 227?
Me: Stalin issued that order when the Red Army was losing, and it continued to lose for months afterward, and didn't start winning until it was dropped in practice. So no, this is not an example of the leader of an army that is currently winning issuing an order to shoot surrendering troops.

Your attempt at finding a counterexample actually was a supporting example, since it's another case of a desperate leader of a losing army trying to solve failing morale with brutality rather than strategy.

You are seething about me each time I post anything. 24/7, each time trying to take shoot at me, throwing everything and kitchen sink, hoping it would stick.

I absolutely love it. I'll be living in your mind rent free to end of time. I bet even on your death bed you'll be trying your goddam hardest to wash off taste of my dick from your mouth.
So, Elbereth confirmed for polack troon; it explains everything. It's always the globohomo, emphasis on the homo.

Did ukies stop with their ridiculous claims of "two planes shot down, twenty tanks destroyed" each and every day? They used to claim it all the time, now it has subdued.

Hard to do when they are getting their shit pushed in hard in the Donbass this week. Even livemaps is updating the pushes more. There's been a lot of Russian momentum this week.

Poland Says Norway Should Share Its “Gigantic” Oil & Gas Profits

Norway, western Europe’s largest oil and gas producer, should share the huge profits it has made from oil and gas exports since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Poland’s prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki said this weekend.

“They should share these excess profits. It’s not normal, it’s unjust. This is an indirect preying on the war started by Putin,” Morawiecki said during a meeting with a youth group on Sunday, as quoted by Bloomberg.

“But should we be paying Norway gigantic money for gas — four or five times more than we paid a year ago? This is sick,” Morawiecki said.

“Write to your young friends in Norway…They should share it, not necessarily with Poland [but] for Ukraine, for those most affected by this war. Isn’t that normal?” the Polish prime minister added, Notes from Poland reports.

Poland expects to start receiving natural gas from Norway via the Baltic Pipe Project, which is planned to be fully commissioned at the start of 2023 and diversify Poland’s gas supply.
Meanwhile, Polish Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskwa, said on Monday that Poland had terminated an agreement to receive Russian gas via the Yamal-Europe pipeline, nearly a month after Russia stopped deliveries to Poland after the EU member refused to pay in rubles for gas.
Poland really needs to see these higher oil prices as a necessary and welcome sacrifice for Zelensky, the Ghost of Kyiv and all the other brave people fighting against those scary Russian orks. I mean, I seem to remember that Poland hated communist central planning, what do they expect Norway to do here? A large amount of Russian gas and oil ended up getting taken off the market, and when commodities get scarce the way market economies determine how to allocate them is according to who will pay the most.
