Like, that's just shitty behavior. If you cut family out of your life, and sometimes there's good reason to, you don't contact them to tell them anything that might be upsetting to them. Unless you want to hurt them. Hell telling them anything at all, even good news, is painful for them, because you're saying "you're important enough for me to share this news with, but not important enough to share the rest of my life with". If you cut someone out of your life you don't - or shouldn't - want them to contact you for any reason, so why are you doing it to them?

I can only conclude that the daughter wanted to hurt her mom by telling her she was coming out. Very childish and very cluster B attention seeking behavior if you ask me. "You hurt me so I'm going to hurt you more!"

I don't think the dead really have an expectation of privacy. They're dead, they no longer care about that and someone does have to go through their stuff, including phones and computers, to look for important stuff (contact information for her loved ones, say) versus stuff you need to throw away.

But if you're reading your mom's text messages and see her "talking trash" is the proper thing ~for your mental health uwu~ to 1) keep reading the "horrible" comments or 2) be sad that your mom thought that, but not read any further? At that point it's less about privacy and more about hurting your own feelings on purpose. (Doctor it hurts when I punch myself! How stop? Doc: Stop hitting yourself dumbass!)

ETA: it's like reading your parents old love letters and being grossed out by them talking about all the sex they have/want to have. Like, what did you expect? You exist, therefore they had sex.

Serious answer: because people are complex creatures that take a whole lot of different circumstances and come up with answers to various Big Questions that make sense to them. It just so happens that there is a limit to the number of answers to any of these Big Questions so people usually fall into a small number of sets.

Like atheism versus religion. Neither is better than each other, both have committed atrocities although allegedly religious people arguably have committed more in recent years.

Neither prevent people from forming other answers to other Big Questions. There are religious troons - even in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where as a matter of doctrine we don't support any LGBT person unless they are celibate. Many SDAs find that abhorrent to the point of setting up unofficial churches not actually connected to the church body as an organization. Many don't. Others have no opinion.

No group is a monolith. None. Not even troons.

The idea that there's some immaterial and immutable property called "gender" that exists wholly independent of a person's biology and neurology has always smacked of Ew age spiritualism to me, just with a pseudo scientific coat of paint.

This sad tweet has improved my life. Not gonna lie, I've been malding over the trans madness for a while so hearing a trans person lay out all the backlash the movement has been receiving just makes my day! There's real pushback now! FINALLY! Because yeah, normal people ain't comfortable with this shit. They're just afraid to speak because of how badly they can be beaten down for saying anything. Untouchable celebrities that mirror these sentiments but actually speak are gonna see big support.

EDIT: Oh yeah! Pride is coming up! After last year's Pride Month I thought "There should never be another Pride month ever again". They went too damn far (that Nick Jr. shit especially). So looks like we're on schedule!

The Twitter TERFs need to be more careful about the stuff they tweet. That bench was vandalised 2 days ago, before the new comedy special even aired, and nobody knows who did it.

There is enough confirmed lunacy and degeneracy to tweet about, without them jumping to conclusions and making themselves look dumb when it turns out to be some pissed up teenagers that did it.

I think a lot of it comes down to undiagnosed mental disorders. Normally these people would be given a handler, which while it sounds bad can be as simple as "hey nigga time to pay taxes, here's what you need to do".
Instead you have 10-20% disabled people basically having to deal with their normal illnesses in addition to this other shit. We like to make fun of trannies, but imagine being someone suffering from severe obsessive compulsive ticks and generalized anxiety orders being told that if they undergo surgery and become social outcasts itll be fixed. Now those problems are because the world is transphobic. Now they need to use the womens bathroom if they want the gaping sore from compulsively picking at their face to heal (from the dysmorphia of having a beard)

What are your sources Quinton, because I actually did the research and there's maybe 1 murder of a tranny at most every day (WORLDWIDE) and it's 99% of the time some tranny prostitute from Brazil who decided to fuck with a drug gang or didn't disclose to a client that they have a penis.
