Not only did it sink the Hicksville thing it basically popped the whole illusion of Amber being a poor sweet baby tortured and tormented by an angry drunk raging Johnny. Even without the trauma mention, Johnny being super happy and open and then shrinking in and becoming very shy and apologetic over the night after Amber shouted at him is absolutely in conflict with Amber's version. It's no wonder Elaine was so furious she was shaking. I don't know why Amber thought it was funny though. Very weird.

Speaking of weird and cringe, TUG is claiming credit for the witness taking the stand, despite the fact that the witness himself said he saw like 5 tweets about it and just picked one at random (probably the top one) to respond to. If anything, he actually caused the problem where they had to fight over it, because the guy's associate probably would have contacted him regardless. But it wouldn't have pissed off Elaine as much, to be fair.

ETA: Soyboy tweeted out "Here's some free speech for you: fuck @elonmusk (ANGERFACE)" - Elaine wanted to suggest he had a problem with Elon because of his relationship with Amber. It's extremely clear that he's responding to Elon buying twitter here.

Note that he also fiercely believes MJ diddled children. This man is 100% not the kind of man to lie to protect Johnny. He would only have given this testimony if it's actually what he saw.

maybe but I don't believe he'd simp for Johnny if he saw Johnny hit or shout at or frighten a woman. Too extreme left.

I know that the angle she hoped for was "You only spent 1hr of the day with him you don't know what he did" but the problem is the area is so small that what Amber described would have been heard and noticed even if he wasn't standing right there, as displayed by the shouting match he did see. She should have at least said "You have no proof Johnny didn't touch Amber" instead.

Hopefully if he's free from witness duty we can hear the full, unedited version of his story on twitter or whatever

This is normal. When you're on direct or redirect, you don't get to ask leading questions. Cross however is assumed to be a hostile witness and therefor leading questions are allowed.

No, no. I understand why she's allowed to. My question is why would she do this. The answer given is what she was trying to stop Camille from getting.

She’s had moments like that throughout the trial, specifically when there’s been mention of Amber doing something particularly shitty or malicious to Johnny. It’s like her narcissistic side can’t help but relish in the memory of having power over Depp.

I don't think she gets a free pass. I don't even think Johnny Depp expected to win this trial. He wanted to destroy her reputation and he has succeeded. No one will want to hire the crazy bedshitter again.

They're both crazy and this trial is great fodder but it's gone on too long. It seems longer, though much lower stakes, than the OJ trial.
