Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

So how many are dead/injured again? Numbers don't add up.

Standard triage practice.

Even level one trauma centers can only handle two possibly three cases with a reasonable degree of medical care.

Anymore and you begin running out of doctors, surgeons, trauma bays, and meds. Thus the practice in this is to spread out the casualties. Some go to the local Children's Hospital, some go to the private hospital, some go to the public university hospital.

Overall, you want everyone to have the best possible chance for survival.

Mark Whaleburg- if i was in the buffalo grocery store with my kids, it wouldn't have wen't down like it did, there would be a lot of blood on the aisles of the store. then i would have told the grocery shoppers, don't worry it's under control.
More people should carry. I think every sound of mind adult should be carrying whenever they're in public, and teach people how to use them properly too.

Already memory holed, I only censored the local hashtags. Holy fuck that was quick.
It's still trending in Canada, albeit under ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and #GunControlNow hashtags. Give it time and it may disappear from tomorrow's headlines, because it took place in a heavily Hispanic area and the shooter, if it's him, is not white. Looks like Richard Ramirez, AKA The Night Stalker, actually.

They'll pass him off as white. But like Waukesha, there'll be a lot of hand waving. Maybe Biden will head down there and give an emotional speech - or not, especially with the border wide open and the town being 60 miles from it.

Yes, that's because things like school shootings are products of media attention. The media wants this to happen because (1) it gives them more views/clicks and (2) they want to get rid of Americans' freedom to bear arms. If they truly didn't want mass shootings, they wouldn't salivate and orgasm in joy every time one happens.
Honestly I think they want to get rid of freedom itself but that's just me being paranoid. Losers want to be the next Herostratus, TV talking heads want to sell ad space, and politicians and activists want financial donations. You could argue that calls to ban stuff make people panic buy but this is America, firearms sell regardless of who is in the White House.

Joseph Stalin said he didn't want his people to have guns, so why would he let them have ideas?

I gotta ask, why is it that all these mass shooters have red flags on their social media and seemingly no one intervenes/stops them? How are they getting the money to buy this and or, why do their parents seem to not care about them having firearms?

There's a Wiki list for shootings that may qualify as "mass shootings" in the United States. According to that list, there was 693 in 2021. I do think that only some of them get highlighted by the media while everyone else is usually more hushed up.
There's no incentive for glowies to stop mass shooters, really. And local police probably doesn't have enough time/resources.
