Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

Most schools in urban neighborhoods don't have metal detectors and police on staff. Schools barely have funding for art programs, they don't have money for that nonsense. At most, they request parents to buy clear bags and bulletproof shield inserts for backpacks. Pathetic.
All the shitty nigger schools in New Orleans have metal detectors. None of the Catholic schools do and I know of one nice white public school with them (though white public schools in N.O. metropolitan area is almost nonexistent) And as can you imagine, none of the Catholic schools or the white schools ever had a shooting at them. The nigger schools have them though, not massive ones like this Mexican in texas tho, but deadly and violent all the same when they do happen.

I think a school resource officer or whatever you call them (policeman doing paid security work off hours) and metal detectors at the main entrance to schools, as well as (like I think you might have said earlier) locking the goddamn doors, does a lot to prevent would be shooters. We know about the ones where security guards didn't help, because that's a negative feedback loop. It didn't work, yet still happened, so we remember it. But we have no idea how many were prevented because the would be shooter called it off because he knew it wouldn't be easy what with the security and metal detectors. (and maybe they keep the damn front door locked!!)

I have heard people claim that mental hospitals were "as bad as Auschwitz" (exact words). Completely ridiculous.
That faggot Geraldo said that back in the 80s and his insider investigation resulted in many of them losing funding and shutting down. Granted, many weren't great, but it was still a million times better than having them live on the streets, pushing little asian women in front of speeding subway trains.

Considering there's a lot of back and forth on this topic, and the last shooting; I do have one question. What do you guys think is a reasonable approach from a legislation standpoint, to stop this kind of shit?

It's pretty clear at this point that schools and shopping centers are being targeted due to low (if any at all) security/threat level. I know the left will freak out at mention of this, but I honestly don't see how anyone can argue about teachers being trained with sidearm and being able to conceal/carry. It could be on a volunteer basis, and to be blunt; all its going to take is one would be shooter getting popped in the fucking head by the gym teacher for them (the left) to shut the fuck up about it. Nobody would be forced to carry, it could be an entirely volunteer program. For those that volunteer, training could be issued by the schools police liason or a state run program by the state troopers. At this point, something has to be done.

Unless you're leaning towards this being a glowop, I can't argue with you. I'm not saying you're right or wrong; just that you can't argue solutions to a conspiracy barring no damning evidence is presented. It's just conjecture at this point in time.
Police/ feds need to enforce the laws already in effect, not add more on top of them. How many of these mass shooters have been known by the FBI as being wackos?

I have my doubts about the tranny shooter line. Look at this photo and it suggest a middle class apartment or a very new suburban house due to the presence of fire sprinklers. We see an ensuite restroom indicating an upper middle class residence.

Now look at this picture below. Totally different. No sprinklers, the lighting a basic, the bedspread is different.

I think the trans angle is unsubstantiated for now.
Wearing a skirt and thigh-high socks isn't exactly a way to show you're mentally stable. The two places are definitely different. There's a window AC unit, which is usually found in older buildings...and the lighting is very institutional. I've never seen lighting like that in a bedroom before. My folks had something like that in the laundry room. I wonder if it's a converted garage or something like that.

People say the debates on the farms are useless. Maybe. But I enjoy them.

It is always nice to see a bunch of different opinions being expressed as opposed to Twitter and Reddit. I also enjoy the info that gets dropped.

With that being said, fuck this piece of shit and I hope he is burning in worst part of hell.
this place gets called far-right and whatever, but I come here for a more balanced debate than you would find on most other social media.

I agree with some of the sentiment behind what you're saying but how would taking away guns from normies stop people from getting them illegally? It really doesn't make any sense. When you really want to get your hands on something, you're going to get it. The reason people sperg when you talk about banning guns is because criminals and government officials (not that there's much of a difference between the two) will be the only ones with guns if you ban them.
I don’t have full confidence that the criminals that have guns will follow proper gun laws.

Used to live in a shithole area where two kinds of people had guns; white working class people to defend themselves and their homes, and the black teenagers shooting each other constantly.

Kind of how locks only keep honest people out, gun laws only impact people who want to follow the law.
The justice system barely punishes these juvenile offenders for gun crimes as it is.

In my area, every school has an armed resource officer. Zero school shootings as of 20 seconds ago. Also, you have to be buzzed in by the front office. I'm just saying if pols claim that our children are the most important thing, why do pols resist putting cops in schools?

Answer: Cause they need blood pouring into the school hallways to politic..

But next week, some nigger will whine that weapon's charges enhancements are racist and should be done away with, along with gang enhancements..

I wish there were a way we could desensitize people to when others carry or open carry (in the same way people go to therapy to desensitize themselves to spiders or other phobias). Because right now, most of these leftists in america are scared to death of all mention of guns. Even at the mere mention, it's like when they physically can't say the word trump because it will send them into spasms or something. And it's because of the media bias. Not that it's really bad that the media reports on such events (despite glorification), but that it leads to a very biased perspective.
Yeah where I am it is common to see people openly carrying. I remember working at a grocery store as a teenager and you would see it all the time. I would tell people online and people would always ask what did I do when I saw they had a gun? I said I would cut their ham and give it to them. Like I said earlier, growing up my mom hated guns, she was scared of them, but after the Floyd riots, she went and got herself a small .380 handgun and learned how to shoot and how to handle a gun. Now she carries it everywhere she goes.

Of course it was a tranny. He probably had some Satanic beliefs too. I know many people here don’t believe in the spiritual. But I am coming to believe that there is good and evil forces that we cannot see. Just look at how mentally ill the LGBT community is. And I know that not all Christians are mentally sound. But the ones I know who take their religion seriously do seem happier and with higher mental resolve.

Or they need serious counselling by a priest. This is what happens when you remove religion from a society. They need to fear god to keep them in line. Atheism just leaves them to believe that everything is pointless. And that their suffering has no meaning. and the current mental health system just reinforces this. They need spiritual counselling i’ve seen it work wonders on people.
Totally those little boys need some 'spiritual' counselling.

At least one was, Pennhurst. They just tied tards down to bed and let them fester in their own shit, and people died from malnourishment and neglect. But the problem was overcrowding and underfunding/understaffing. The building wasn't necessarily cursed from the beginning.

Fun fact: More kids were molested by public schools in the United States then by the largest clergy category (which wasn't the catholic)

And the government also protected their rapists

Has it come out yet that this guy had threatened and been reported to the authorities? Seems like a very common trait when this happens... someone always knew something was wrong.

I know you can't read the thread but at least read the highlights before spreading the same stuff that was dealt with hours ago

Different rooms at least. Carpet and ceiling height appear different. Also why would anyone install florescent lighting into a house?

You have a fixed number of cops,
a fixed number of prosecutors,
a fixed number of judges,
and fixed number of jail cells.

Ask yourself? How many crimes would it take to fill up every jail ?

There are a fixed number of laws that can be enforced.

Every dude busted for selling weed is time that could be used going after a guy who commits violence or property crimes.

What are the priorities law enforcement uses......in the laws they enforce.

Its clearly not correct.

Because shit like this, 9-11, and so many other SERIOUS CRIMES are on the radar of cops and fall through the cracks,

Priorities need to be tightened up
Agreed. But arresting people for drug related crimes are incentivized. The war on drugs is profitable and pearl clutching conservatards love it. The police are no longer in place to actually solve crimes, I'm not sure if they ever were. They're there for social control. That doesn't mean that there are no good cops, most of them are just regular dudes trying to feed their families and do their jobs. We've been talking here about how to fix a problem. The issue is that the government doesn't see school shootings as a problem, it's just an opportunity for further control.

>dumb faggot decides to shoot some kids
>dumb faggots start talking about gun control
>dumb faggot europeans acting smug on the sidelines
>dumb political faggots on all sides can't even wait a day before making it an issue

Like clockwork.

People do what they are incentivized to do.

We do not incentivize the government to do good policies for our benefit
