So this funny little map site has been basically the only way I've been keeping up with the war. Now, I'm basically a retard when it comes to reading these things, but the screenshot above means things are not going very well at all for Ukraine atm, right? I feel sorry for any of the poor bastards caught up in that clusterfuck, ukie or ruskie.

Things must be going horribly. They are losing territory that they spent years preparing to defend. Russians take a very slow and methodic approach to it. If those fortifications are lost, next big fortification is Dnieper itself.

The commander of the Azov regiment, Denis Prokopenko, was able to briefly call his wife, Ekaterina, and say that the Ukrainian military from Azovstal were being held in "satisfactory" conditions.

Are they using the " They're destroying churches and going after clergy" line AGAIN? At least before they could argue they were fighting primarily muslims but what's their excuse now? I'll let you guys in on a little secret, Russian Orthodox Churches and Ukranian Orthodox Churches...are the EXACT same. The only thing that's different is the language spoken during rites and rituals and potentially some flavoring during those rites and rituals. Architecturally, the churches are the exact same. They could kick the clergy out sure but they would have no reason to destroy the monasteries. As butt fucking stupid as slavs are, they are highly dogmatic.


In regards to the BMPT "Terminators" as much as i would love to see those things shred through a city or two ala Syrian T72s, in reality, designing an AFV for urban warfare is like designing a submarine for lakes. They're probably going to be a duds.

On a side note there were some rumblings about Russia mobilizing some of it's T62Ms but that story appeared to be fake as far as i could tell. It would have been interesting though to see 60 year old tanks fighting along side the BMPT which are so new they haven't even been properly fielded yet.

It makes me wonder about the effect of Russia losing a third to half of their modern (by Russian standards) tanks in this conflict. How much of the rest is still operational? People say for every dead soldier there's usually several wounded. Is that the case for vehicles as well?
It doesn't seem like the Russians were in a position to capture significant amounts of Ukrainian equipment, compared to what the Ukrainians could capture after the Russian feints in the north.

Another day, another plea. Today from Territorial Defense unit from Cherkasy, which was transferred to Lugansk.

Spoiler: Translation

We are fighters of Cherkasy Territorial Defense with place of dislocation (can't understand). Without valid reasons we were transferred into Lugansk Territorial Defense. Right now, we are located in Donetsk Region and filming this address for clarification of this situation that developed in our battalion. On 20th of May, orally, commander of the battalion told us that we are being transferred to (can't understand). After evaluating the task that was assigned to us, with preliminary examination at the point of dislocation, for it's completion we require heavy weaponry, which we, as Territorial Defense, do not possess. Because of that, completion of the task is impossible. After that we asked for help from our leadership, after that our commander ordered us to return our weapons, ammunition, body armor. Right now we are being intimidated with arrests, but, as a matter of fact, no one from us refused to fulfill our obligations. Everyone is ready to defend our Fatherland, but with automatic rifles alone this is impossible. After we were transferred to (don't understand), we had two 200th (dead) and plenty of 300th (wounded) in hospitals. [They don't want to recognize them as such.](not sure about this part.) Financing of this battalion is nonexistent, even commander of the battalion says so. Legal conformation of transfer of our company is not given to us, and, we think, the fact that we were transferred is illegal. Right now, leadership of the battalion trying to transfer us to military prosecutors, which has a prejudice against our company. They give us oral orders to go on fighting positions, leadership think of us as of cannon fodder. We voluntary came to serve, did not changed our minds and want to give glory to our nation. We asking for help. Glory to Ukraine!

This has been an argument the serbs have used in just about every conflict they were in, and apparently now they're using it in Russian conflicts too. Every time this has been investigated though it's always come down to either crossfire, the location being actively used as a firing position, or individual fuck heads being fuck heads. That was when fighting muslims by the way.

I hope the 50.000 Rubles (2 dollars and 73 cents) are worth it bro.
