Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

Let the little bitty bodies hit the floor. Mah fuckin gun collection will always be more precious than the souls of some children. There’s a shortage of baby formula, not ammo.
I don't understand why you think people who had nothing to do with the shooting should be subject to more restrictive laws that did not or won't fix the problem.

Texas doesn't have magazine limits, nor owners licenses or registration you fucking mongoloid. Expanded capacity are perfectly legal there. https://www.texasgunlaws.org/

No amount of regulation? Oh god forbid we use psych checks, registrations and don't let people use large capacity magazines with mil spec attachments. God forbid.

30 round mags are standard, not extended, nor large.
mil-spec sounds so scary, but its simply specifications so they can purchase from any supplier and things will work. mil-spec means nothing and you're stupid.

Why would they want to do that? If some /pol/tard shot up an entire school, imagine the power you could get out of the population demanding for more laws to control them.
well they haven't gotten that much power so far in the last shootings honestly.

Uneducated here again. Are there any countries in the world that actually have full on gun bans? Seems that a lot of ones like England are propped up by liberals as gun free havens but actually have lots of hunting rifles and other guns owned by civilians especially in the countryside. Not even Australia actually took back all of them. Might be really wrong here though
Cambodia, North Korea, Somalia, Eritrea, Fiji, Nauru, Marhsall Islands, Maldives, Brunei, Comoros, Vatican City, Myanmar

Probably because no other countries have this problem
Australia has a similar culture, had one terrible shooting and nothing reached Port Arthur levels again. Guns are still illegally gotten, and can still be 3d printed and jury rigged. And yet there were less. Less legal access means it's harder for the random mental defective to go on a killing spree. Do you think this retard in Texas would've gone out of his way to get a gun on a black market or 3d print one? I don't think he would have.
Psych evaluations as a prerequisite to exercise your rights will only further encourage those who need help to refuse it out of fear of losing those rights because of a medical condition. Whether or not you want to believe it, tacticool plastic shit doesn’t make a firearm more deadly. 30 round magazines are standard, outlawing them would turn millions of Americans into felons overnight for legally buying a plastic box for no real benefit. Those who want to harm others would keep theirs or just 3D print themselves some.
You overestimate how abundant full 3d printers are.

You know what I mean. Attachments regularly used by the military and are overkill for any hunting or law enforcement purpose. Use your tiny head.

So, what do you suggest?
You sure like to critique gun ownership but I want you to tell me, how do you stop people from killing each other?
If it's not guns, it's gonna be explosives, if it's not explosives, it's gonna be poison, if it's not poison, it's gonna be suicide cults...When someone wants to hurt a large number of people, they just find a way.
You're not addressing the root of the problem, nor providing any useful arguments at all. You're just defending your stance on "guns are bad". Have you ever thought in-depth about your stance?

The problem is none of those countries have any kind of culture around guns. In the US, our country was created in large part because of everyday citizens using private arms to fight back against the British. This is why the right to have a gun was enshrined as the second amendment, the UK/Australia never had a right to a gun, they had the privilege to have one and that privilege was taken away because of a few nutjobs. Stripping millions of people of a fundamental right isn't close to the same thing.

Gun control debates are in the end worthless because special interest groups on both sides want the status quo to stay the same , the last real piece of gun control i can think of that wasn't banning some uber specific loophole was the 94' Assault weapon ban and that law expired in 04. No new federal gun laws are gonna come from this shooting , a few states might clamp down harder on guns but the 2nd amendment isn’t gonna magically disappear.

Also non-americans trying to say what americans should and shouldn't own is hilarious because they know fucking nothing about our laws and think little timmy can walk into a gas station and walk out with a m60

Thanks for admitting that there’s no amount of regulation that will satisfy you people. You didn’t stop with automatics, you won’t stop with 30 round magazines. The end goal is a death by a thousand cuts. This is the problem I have with anti-gun advocacy, there’s no line in the sand where you can admit “alright, these measures are truly common sense and limits the restriction of rights as best as possible.” Instead, it’s a constant doubling down on the flawed idea that private gun ownership and violence has any sort of correlation.

I think this pretty much goes for any Leftist social cause these days. When you're finally proven right too they say "Oh well, you're probably lying about it not working" and insist on doing more. The Right has its crazies too, but they're usually misinformed but well-intentioned, whereas the Left will lie knowingly because the cause of the lie is noble in their mind, and when you contradict it, they accuse you of duplicity as they are acting duplicitous.

It's not going to be explosives or knives, fucking look at Europe. Knife attacks are bad. But explosives require far more effort. These countries contain millions and millions of people yet how often are explosives used in Germany a la Syria.
You fucking mongoloid, New York did, and it didn't stop Buffalo shooter lmao https://giffords.org/lawcenter/state-laws/large-capacity-magazines-in-new-york/
And he was a radical who went online for it, not your average crazy person. Easier access to guns still leads to more deaths, there is objective proof in other countries around the world, dipshit.
