Whenever Cover finally decides to gives them their 3D debut or w/e, they would prefer to fly them over to Japan than to set up an studio in the US.

I'm familiar with yakuwarigo and the oujo-sama sterotype with the "desu wa" verbal tick. Never had a problem with it but this chick ending every second sentence with it in this emphasized way is too much for me. Like Nina's honey too much. I will pass on this.

Cover is still a Japanese corpo, so they will still sit on opportunities if it goes outside the way they are structured. Theres no excuse for the Irys situation though. She was hired specifically to be 100% controlled by Cover, which also includes support, but it feels like she is getting the Suisei Inonaka treatment.

A Cover owned EN studio is unfeasible, but they certainly could throw some money in the direction of a certain Detective or at least her manager for financing more gear. They'll no doubt get their money back.

Considering the bullshit you have to go through/pay to set up shop in the US (including related tax hell being a Japanese owned company ontop of it), I honestly don't blame them not wanting to set a studio up/rent out space, especially since the EN branch is similar to NijiEN and kinda comprised of people everyfuckingwhere and not just mainland US. With Japan and even ID, at least they have that proximity that it's not such a hassle/problem. Since being realistic, it is indeed much cheaper (and efficient) to do everything in house but yeah, the plague is really the cause for a lot of issues still. Re: Irys situation, I think them axing the Vsinger branch also threw some shit into the garbage fire unnecessarily.
