It's absolutely not worth it. Both sides can file paperwork against each other and drag a five-minute brawl into a jewdicial battle in foreign land which only results in rich lawyers. Contrary to the US, some countries in Europe do not take taking to court every single minor thing that happens in the street, especially when the most physically hurt part is fine and has a superficial cut on his chin (though at first I bet the police officer would believe the gunt's fucked up face was due to the beating, lol)

The police have no idea about the context of the fight, or how dangerous the attacker(s) are. They just let a person they know is violent walk the streets, not knowing how potentially violent he could be to others.
