Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

As a non American, watching the gun control debate is hilarious and the reason why mass shootings are and will forever be an American staple intrinsic to the American people. Most of the world gets along fine without guns but this small group of Americans will literally die if you consider taking guns away.

Just say you want to be able to shoot your neighbor dead if he pisses you off enough and you're just mad about the debate because it exposes you as no better than the mass shooters themselves.

Please, my neg ratings now...
Guns are for shooting the government. Hypothetically.

Wall Street Journal already started committing the crime of noticing things. Turns out if you demonize men and tell them that they're not good enough for women or that their existence is literally violence, they will react negatively.

Ive always said this; gun deaths are the cost of freedom of living in the US. Yes you can own 10 guns in this country but that comes at a cost. Its just an inconvenient truth. Those who want to eliminate guns think they're the hero but really they are sacrificing freedom. If you don't like it, then move to another country but thats just how the US is.
I think we should teach our kids to be more respectful of human life in general. (That is why I am happy that Texas has introduced the heartbeat bill and unhappy that we still have the death penalty). Have a whole-some pro-life culture AND keep our weapons, because they do safeguard our god-given freedom.

On a side note, it is a GODDAMN SHAME when everyone on here is so determined to have a twitter-tier autistic slapfight about guns that I'm legitimately finding new info while plodding on a treadmill at the gym, instead of the Farms thread having fifty tidbits that even the news hasn't caught up to yet.

I was watching some shitty CC-news broadcast, so this is sort of a 'closest I can get' link but:

- apparently the grandfather, Rolando Reyes, had a past history as a felon and the guns legally shouldn't have been in the house; he didn't even know his retard grandson had them or he wouldn't have allowed it because of that.

-grandmother is Cecilia Martinez. She was shot in the head.

- shooter sounds like he was the kid of a single mother since there's no mention of a father. News had mentioned her being a drug user, hence shooter living with grandparents.

- no luck on grandmother on facebook. Shooter definitely HAD a facebook, but apparently his 'gonna shoot up a school' posts were 1x1 messages to someone. I'm INCENSED that we didn't get the facebook because that's for sure scrubbed by now. A Salvador Ramos does show up in Uvalde but is clearly older with no real info.

The NRA being led by a man named WAYNE LA PIERRE and not Chuck Norris or someone with a high testosterone name is a disappointment as well lol.
It's just like BLM or any of the various alphabet sexuality organizations. It's nothing more than a piggy bank for the president of the group at this point.

It should be called the National Wayne LaPierre T-Bone Steak and Private Jet Fund.

The ghost of this mini-Ramirez should be forced to live as another Staphanie concubine as punishment for his sins
Hopefully she'll be adding him to her harem shortly

Wonder why he killed the grandma, that's pretty telling. What was the grandfather's felony for?

Its a shame that being well supplied in the sense of being able to resist state level threats is impossible now, and it has been for a while.

wait the guns were his??? I thought they were stolen but he god a goddamn DD AR at 18?

He is easily going to lose by 10. Thats his ceiling with this environment.

With this stunt he may lose by 20. He is politically dead.
The amazing part is that this loser even has a political career at all.

Hell moving to Texas actually sounds like a winning proposition at any rate.

In a stroke of incredible luck, the grandma is actually alive despite taking a headshot as far as I know. I think the latest reports said she was in bad condition at the hospital, but not dead at present.
Apparently she had taken him out for a birthday dinner a week earlier too.

Sadly, no idea on the grandpa's felony. I tried to go pull it up but trying to source that shit for free is a goddamn pain.

@Zaslon Yes, bought less than a week earlier on his 18th birthday. Apparently he made the money because he dropped out of hs and worked at Wendy's fulltime.

He is completely propped up by establishment Democrats. He spent over $80 million to beat Cruz in a Blue wave year and came up short. Then he tried grifting for president, which went nowhere because he was supposed to win the Senate seat first (like Obama). Now, as governor, he is done with his constant flip flopping of taking away guns and support of mutilating mentally ill children.

He is only a factor because of money sliding him into relevency, while trying to make a "Hispanic, formally Irish" Obama. He is an astroturfed candidate and I cannot wait for his crooked smile to lose and his career of grifting to finally be dead forever.
